Necrologos: The Abased
| While picking wildflowers near Iron Lake, a young maiden of three and ten came across several pieces of parchment filled with arcane symbols and strange diagrams. The pages frightened the girl so much so that she ran straight home where she told her father of her find. The girl's father, sensing something ill, walked to the area's Yellowjacket camp and repeated the story to the gatewarden stationed there. When the gatewarden relayed this story to Mealvaan's Gate, it was finally discerned that the sheets the girl saw were most likely torn from a stolen copy of the Necrologos―a forbidden tome known to contain wards which bind arcane demons within its pages. The assessors cannot allow the power of the tome to fall into the wrong hands, and are asking adventurers to return to the approximate location of where the maiden first found the parchment, find any remaining pages, put to rest any beasts summoned therefrom, and then destroy the parchment. |  Guildleve - Wisdom |
