well im just going to say one thing i dunno if anyone has said anything, was to lazy to read everything but you should get a "empress band" from the NPC you get signet from, you'll find it under common items all ranks i think its about 1000 conquest points, has 7 charges of 50% plus exp points added to your kills for a max of 1000exp added, lasts for 3 hours, rechargeable once every week after the conquest update by TRADEing it to the signet NPC costs 100 conquest points for every charge to get it back upto 7/7

umm to use the ring keep it on for 15 seconds and use it like you do food, go to your items click on it and then the use option should come up, if not and you dont see the 15 sec timer going down means you got to equip it, once you have used the ring you can take it off.

and if your from sandoria Leathercraft is good to get into. you can make lots of money at higher lvls but costs a TON to lvl up.

Just a quick note to mages like Wendigo, you can increase your MP and INT by using melon pie, if you find any on the AH. Also, if you level cooking now to about 30, it will save you a LOT of grief later on. Orange juice caps at 10, apple at 20 and pineapple, the most uselful, at 30. I highly recommend you use juices and pies in every party from the Dunes on.

You will get +4 INT from melon pies, which is great for a BLM or a RDM, +25 MP too. And Juices will help you get your MP back faster.

General tips: I find, as do many others, that farming in Windy is best early one. You can get crystals everywhere, but silk threads and beehive chips sell relatively fast on other servers. Obviously I have no clue how fast they will sell on Hydra, but silk cloth is a lower level Clothcraft synth, so I expect they DO sell.

When trading in crystals for rank points, I recommend you choose the ones your craft uses least. For instance, I'm a cook and use fire and water most frequently. So I trade earth, as they are inexpensive anyway.

On other servers, people choose to party in the Dunes for 10-20. >< A couple of years ago, we use to level in the Maze of Shakrami too...so if you get the chance to level there, TAKE IT! Chances are, you won't get that chance after migration. It's much nicer than the Dunes, as you go after worms primarily. Plus you can do the subjob quest on Windy side as well. They ask for different items though.

-Talk to Vera at G-10 of Mhaura. She appears at evening and night.
-She will ask for a Wild Rabbit Tail. Kill Mighty Rarabs in Buburimu Peninsula.
-Go back to her and give it to her. She will then ask for a Cup of Dhamel Saliva. Kill Bull Dhamels along the southern portion of Bubu. Return to her and trade again.
-She then asks for a Bloody Robe. Go back to Bubu and kill Bogy's along the beach, G-9 and H-9. These guys are HARD, so get a full party together for this one. They come out late at night, ie. 20:00 to say 04:00.

Go back to here and you get the ability to have a subjob.

It's a matter of choice. If you can party on the Windy side, then you may as well do the subjob quest there. Same goes for the Selbina side.
