I stinkin waiting for a party for an hour as a 43 taru RDM in Lower Jeuno. There is no excuse for that ;_; I think I am doomed to never level past the lower 40's. I've just been PLing people and helping folk out that have recently migrated to Lakshmi or just starting a new job. It's been at least 2 weeks since I leveled at all. I think I'll just pretend that level 40 is the cap. That should ease the frusteration. (I know...RDM broke the cap >.>)

looks to me like your multi-tasking with jobs a bit too much. instead of juggling all that gear focus on the one. i've always gone through dry spells in lvling regardless of job.


although nothing like high lvl pld. the once champions or now the dregs of the tanking class. but im over it. its all pirate for me.

Here's where your plan completely falls apart:

Once you get past 60 the game becomes more fun and really gets its talons into you. Once you get past 70 and can kill big monsters...your real life is over and done. Enjoy not talking to girls.

Now getting through the 50s...not fun. Not fun at all.

The point is that I can't get past this point unless I level really slow by soloing. And I'm not concerned with talking to other girls, I'm already married. Which, incidently, is the reason I can't be on past 8:15pm. That's when the wifey gets home and I'm not going to make her sit around while I play video games

Yea, thats a short time to lvl, but yeesh any RDM with Refresh is usually picked up with lightning speed, granted there are slow days for everyone, but wow, I'm suprised your having that much trouble. Have you tried forming a static or a semi-static pt?

Yeah, trying to start a static with people who can work with those times...I have some people who have agreed. However, I'd have to be PLD. Which is something I have wanted to try...but somebody better be able to back me up

I can say from experience: do not try Paladin. Its a waste of time. Stick with a job people want and must have for 75+ levels like Red Mage.
