Corsair sounds like more of a support job than BLU...so right now I'd guess that corsair would be more valuable.

At this point, since Corsair has been dubbed a "Support job" it makes me think more and more that BLU might be a high DD job.

I think the AF for that job has amazing design and context. The developers are idiots, but the concept artists are not.

Corsair is a gambler class, and *probably* all depends on the extremes of the good and bad effects.

Blue Mage would be useful depending on the skills learned and their power.

since we don't know *everything* yet, it's hard to say.

if Corsair has an effect that can restore HP *or* AoE damage your party, that would be a kick in the hook and people would be afraid to invite them.

if Blue Mage's Enemy Skills were extremely gimped compared to the monsters, it'd also be less saught after.

and yes, Corsair does look badass.. it sure beats the bony old pirates we have now

Hmmm, well, since Corsair is a support job, it will probably be more sought after. Since Blue Mage will be a damage mage, there probably is no such thing as "too much" Blue Mages, like BLM and SMN. Corsair will probably be like BRD and there will be such thing as "too much." I'm personally more interested in Blue mage.
