awe, I think the Mithra's look fine in Corsair AF, I'm just waiting for a Galka named "Frilly" too get his Corsair AF...*shudder*

Hmm being that pirates were in the 15-17th century most people that werent peasants wore frilly clothes in Europe. Just look at King Louis IV. You all say he looks gay but if you said that back in the day he chop off your fucking head and everyone would laugh at your bodyless head. Plus that coat is more of a brown than pink maybe a pink/brown or light brown. It will be a good job nonetheless and maybe let me use my sword again like I was suppose to. Fucking Elemental Staves

it's not gay at all its like notacka said, that's the style of clothes worn in the time pirates were around.
and for what it's worth, it hink it looks VERY pirate-y
(come on the pic with the bearded hume doing detonator, that looks awesome)
one thing i like is that there's no real "shirt" just a harness and a jacket.
i think it looks good and im gonna lvl corsair cause ive been waiting for a "pirate" job

AF = Homolisouse but still it's just af i will use other equips for sure.
I like the whole Idea of de-buffs and buff fomr the gun sounds like a job i might pick up

I think that this is so ridiculous. Like everyone says they are lvling this job. Do you want to know why? Because of the look of the AF. No one seems to care what the job actually does. Everyone just says ya this job looks awsome even tho we have no clue how it works whatsoever. Lvling a job because of what the AF looks like is stupid. You're gonna take it all the way to 60 just so you can put on some AF that looks like a pirate. I dont think i've heard one person that has said, "hey i think that the job sounds very interesting. a support job that uses luck" or something like that. The other people that say they are going to be lvling it are doing so because they think it will work like a THF or RNG type of job. SE has already said that it will not be a DD and that it will play the role of support. I dunno i just think its really annoying that people want to lvl up the job because of the look of its AF which the job will most likely have better gear. Not many jobs have AF that is that useful or cant be replaced with something better. Each job has maybe 1-2 pieces that are at least useful for a bit. I already know a lot of people that are like hey i wanna lvl that job because i can look like a pirate. Unless you really like how the job plays why would you want to play it lol? It sounds like its gonna be a new BRD type job and thats probably the least popular job in the game. Another reason people say they are going to lvl it is because its new. Out of all honesty, I didn't think SE would actually come out with Pirate (Screw Corsair, everyone is gonna call it Pirate and you know it =P )... I wonder what it's 2 hour will be like.... I hope they have a Pillage ability =x

Hahaha I lvled SAM because I thought the AF is Hot. I mean I'm a kinda Samurai obsessed anyway, but who isnt.
I lvled NIN next because I love the AF... and Im gonna lvl RDM because I love the AF lol..
Every job in the game is usefull... all it comes down to is whether you like it or not. There are no doubts that whm is usefull but I hate it, so why would I lvl it? Doesnt matter if all corsair did was yelled "POLLY WANNA CRACKER!!" during a party and thats it. If people love playing... and it happens to be because of the AF then who cares. They love it, thats all that matters.
And the comment about brd being the least popular job in the game... got 1 thing to say.... LAWL :<
