Theres nothing to discuss there is hardly no information on the job to compare with Ninja. And the only thing I have seen that you could even compare would be corsiar using the rng weaponskill detonator on the pictures. But hey rng gets but f***** anyways so thats np.

It's not that hard to beat a nin or /nin in ballista. You just have to pay attention.
Mehtod #1: Wait
No matter how quickly a ninja casts utsu ichi and ni together, he/she will get hit at the end of every cycle. All you have to do is wait. their hits and the hits that go through will add up to 100%TP. the next time you see a hit go through, hit your ws macro and presto, dead blinker!
Method #2: Ga and silence.
Pretty easy, cast any ga spell when they run at you then silence them. Does not require survivability like above.

I like nin but, it's pretty useless there. If it goes to a one on one vs a pld, pld would crush him. and then heal and go crush something else.
There's an easy way to kill PLD with ninjutu-manaburn. cast paralize spell, then get the NI's spells casted. when you done cast utsusemi again and start with manaburning again. if you're lucky enough to survive to get 100% tp use blade rin, if you dig up incarnius wing then pld's a goner. the only real problem is Cure

you assume that the ninja is using shadows to begin with, or even putting them up systematically.

lol if a ninja is getting hit between cycles he should quit, because I've tanked as nin plenty of times (only 42 atm) and I never get hit at the end of a cycle, and if i do its because i myself was slacking off. And if you explain it like that you can make any job suck.
