No, a big no no. Ive never played as brd let alone in ballista, but thf is definitly not a viable subjob for brd. Sneak Attack only counts as a regular critical hit when subbed, so when you think about the weapons brds can use, and how low STR/att they will have, your SA's would probably do a good 5-20 points of damage. Not to mention you probably shouldnt be melee'ing in the first place. Just my opinion.
