I'm 0/7 I have camped for 2 months straight and lost claim many times. (People who want signa to sell it, no drop). I got other treasure but really wanted Signa. It's Popped around 15 times from times since i started camping to now. No Signa drop. I Offered to trade my Kraken Club for It and I shouted it buy it in jeuno for upto 100m.

On a weird note I found out There really are more Signas on a server than you think. These japanese named Toshi and his ls have one and they are willing to sell it: to someone is who is.. Japanese.
(I /tell her (astral signa) (sell?) she say (i dont know to answer that question) and i say (sell?) she say (may)(bee) then i say something in english she go (can you speak japanese) i said no and she said (i dont have anything to give you) "Astral StAFF JPONLYequip"..
So I had a friend who is japanese /tell her and she said she said she wont sell to me.

Shiva (my server) has 8 Astral Signa's. Theres a handfull of summoners out there that have the Signa, But one sticks out. Her name is Resshin, I kinda envy her, shes a nice player and has killed it 100+ times: Dropped Once. I offered her Gil/item for it but she not selling. Kinda depressing thinking about killing it 100+ times. I worked so hard for this Signa and this NM is just mean. Not only is it three times as hard as the other 2 beastmen Gods, its drop rate is just weird. These Japanese(Mah and Ponco) got 2 Signas in like no time. They are something stupid like 2/5. I Mean I have 8/8 Hq staffs. It's just this NM is weird. Anyone have any experience?

Anything about your experience/drop ratio with this NM would be appreciated. I stored a Mule where Yagudo Avatar pops so I know when its up. Its just never up when I check, i found out my friend Mufferino is camping and hes like 0/5. Thier LS SMN dosent have HQ staffs so he really wants. Im gonna be so depressed if they get drop. Although.. I kinda hope he gets it. He dosent have as much stuff as me and I would /salute him if he got it. He NEEDS IT. Hes a hard worker and from what i hear hes been talking about wanting signa for awhile.

I have camped most of my stuff and I worked so hard and always got what I camped but This Signa is so anoyying. Im not camping anymore atm. I will resume once Muffys LS is done. Its really depressing.. Cause I went there everyday for 2 freakin months. I asked alot of friends for help, i died, i put blood and heart into that and its seems impossible.

I cheer anyone who goes after it. You are a good SMN. keep it. never give up. I will get my Signa one day.

Now about the actuall NM. This Bitch is nasty. Pardon my language.
She used astral flow like 3 times. She did 2k to some people with Searing light. Her evasion is worse than Bakgodek. I mean What is going on? And her drop is weird. 2/5 for racist jp (jpbutton anyone?) and 1/100 for an honest camper in DL. Grr.. and All those links.


5th time fighting her we took 20+ BST AND SMN and we got pwned. we all died 1-3 times it was a slaughter. I DONT KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON. it was Hella bad day for a girl ><;. We had no tank. Just Bst pet. JP got it after we wiped for like the second time. It was So embarrasing. And no drop for the jp. The guy leader /tell me "I hope u get signa before me, you camp long time." And he camps VV for awhile so i cheered him on too.

Last time i fought her, went so well. She got owned. Dasmascus Ingot. Daylight dagger, Phil stone. Gil. Title, feather.



.......... No Signa.

I really hate her. I wont kill it 100+ times. I will kill it at most 30times then im giving up. Too much death. I have serket ring, astral earring, ether ring so i dont survive being hit by its 2hr unless its Ifrit/Inferno. Diamond dust/Judge bolt/Sear light all do me in.

Dais my Friend asked me the same thing and there is a simple answer: I set out to get the Signa, I worked hard for it. My friends, me and My ls died, killed, and camped everyday for it. I worked hard for it and therefor I Diserve it. Even if it dosent Drop. I did work hard for it.


Plus Less inventory space for just -1 tick and I believe everyone who plays this game has some simple goal: To be special.
I set out to get signa because of this. Astral Signa is semi-rare and because of that, if you have it, you arent just 'another summoner'. You are Unique.

I could be wrong on this but I read somewhere Signa is the equivalent of a set of RQ staves; that a set of HQ staves was better for smns, that correct? Regardless, I've helped kill this thing for smns a good 5ish times and no luck. There was 2-3 on our server for the longest time then 2 just dropped recently, so there is 4-5 on my server to my knowledge.

I don't know why SMN want this thingy. -2 perp cost is the same as a set of NQ staves. I guess it would save inventory room, that is valuable. Or is it for status?

I've killed it twice now, it only did Astral Flow once, and we had a DRK/NIN tank so I dont think this is really too hard, SP didn't kill anyone. Only gotten daylight daggers, no other useful drops.

Tzee Xicu is not that hard really, astral flow can take a few mages out but it's not that much an issue. Hell I even tanked it on my friends Nin, and I never played nin before that. We have two astral staffs in the LS right now, trying to get a 3rd. We killed it 2 times and no drop, then got two staffs in a row back to back pops, that was hot. Killed it about 3 times after that and nothing. Just keep at it is all I can say, I know some snm's that camped it for months and months and finally got it to drop.

About 4 months ago a friend said Manifest is up so I gathered my LS and we went to go kill it. 1/1 Astral Signa =Þ Everyone who camped for months and months that went like 0/30+ hated me that week lol.

Edit: There are around 9 astral signa's on the server and 4 are in JP hands, I know of 4 NA on unicorn who have it & JPButton does work

On alexander I can only find 3 Astral Signas.. 2 Held by NA, 1 by a JP. I hold one of them, I've been offer kracken clubs a few times and also upto 400mil. Turned down all offers. But I was reading on a translated JP forums and they estimated that signa drops about once every 9 months real life time. What you do all think?

Too much BS to get a Bahamut's Staff? I think getting an astral signa is way more BS, especially with the punch line that its not even the best staff for smn lol. Bahamut requires very higly skilled players and Astral signa is about dumb luck . . . hmmm which is more BS?

I totally agree with Wopa (who has like 4-5 mages jobs to 75) that Bahamut Staff > Astral Signa thats a no brainer! In fact, the advatages of having all 8/8 HQ staffs outweigh Astral Signa in almost every way possible except for inventory space. And no one is debating the rarity of the signa because it is indeed very very rare. However, in my opinion, its not worth the anywhere near 400M thats completely absurd. Trying to show off by buying it for that much is like putting a sign on your back and saying "Look at me I'm a retard that paid 400M for the rarest staff on the server, even though its gimp, but I just had to have it cause there is only 3 on the server. They are owned by the top 3 dumbest summoners who paid 400M for them." lolz. This week I've seen 2 summoners trying to sell their astral signa's for about 100M and I'm not even sure its worth that much, if you get really really lucky and earned one its cool to hold on to it but if your trying to buy it for an amount like 500M to be pimp . . . rofl!

well the 3 on alexander are owned by:

1) The JP, don't remember his name. It dropped, the linkshell sold it. A JP bought it, then gave it as a gift. Long time ago.
2) Charmer, she received it as a drop.
3) Myself, Papasmruf, bought it for 27mil, that same night I was offered 60mil for it. Not a bad deal if I do sell it.

I am 1/83 on Astral Signa. camped it 3months straight. killing avatar etc. always killed it with 6 people tho. usually 2 NIN's BLM WHM RDM and a DD. it's easy about 30min fight.
