I'm going to give it up. No one really seems to want DRG past level 50 (even though we completely kick ass with Penta Thrust and stuff). Its been absolutely horrible trying to get into an exping pt. I got invited to one exping pt this whole week, and sadly i only had 30 mins left to play by then, and we got owned by a crab in Boyahda and had to teleport out I finally decided that i'm just going to give up this job and most likely go WAR. Any level 55+ DRGs having the same trouble as i am? Or is it just my awful luck >< BTW I don't mean to discourage other DRGs out here, i guess i'm just pissed that the job i'm having so much fun with is getting stupid because i can't find a pt :/

Dragoon is very server dependent. If your server has a ton of Dragoons, no ones going to want them because theres going to be a ton available. I think thats the problem with the job, everyone thought they were Kain and started a Dragoon.

There are just way too many that could replace us, and post 60 most of the time you would be expecting to be subbing THF for yokodama purposes.

My server kinda has a lot of DRGs. There are about 3 DRGs in my level range. The problem is that we can easily be replaced by SAM or DRK, and there are A LOT of DRKs on my server lol...I usually have to compete with about 15 other damage dealers for groups ><

DRG is sweet... it's pure fun...

What about your LS though... I mean if you have a solid group of people in the same lvl... there's your group for a while... at least... thats how it could/should be...

DRGs arguably do more damage than a DRK until lvl 60, and even then, with the right equipment, a DRG can be the highest damage dealer in a lvl65+ party. Don't give up, DRG is the best job.

tell me about it. i guess its a matter of damage dealer being too many... i am 51 since 3 weeks ago... there is simply 1-2 whm my level,(well not anymore , they all got pt under 20 min .) and i see maybe 5-10 drk and drg , thf LFG. am hoping that there a lot of healer coming around 50 .. or am screwed,

Saigar i personlay wouldnt give up dragoon, find a static party with linkshell i know WSA gave up or something? But try to find other PT's i just hit 50 and i can EASYLY do more damage than a dark and i know for a fact when i hit 60 i can outdamage one The people who want PT's are out there just hidden try to make your own or you can just be like most people who give up and wait every day.

you have it good...i'm a monk. best way to do it is to form your own PT instead of trying to get INTO a PT. thats what i do...

I am having the same problem. I have been lvl50 for the past 3 weeks. I can not find a party or parties just dont want me. I play during JP prime time and they just dont want a US DRG. I started to lvl bard...not too fond of the job but can get it to 75 i guess. DRG is my fave class in the game and its killing me that I have to give it up. So I know exactly how you feel.

Orev, WSA did not break up Relm accidently disbanded it lol. It has now been renamed Nocturne but i left it a while ago anyways due to it getting so annoying. And as for giving up DRG...i'm going to give it another shot. If i don't hit level 55 by the end of this week though i think i may quit it, because i want to make progress not sit in Jeuno or farm. And i've tried very hard to find a static pt, no one is really up to it. I've talked to a couple people about it but it doesn't sound like its going to work. So far the only people I know that want to do static pts are fellow DRGs that are having the same problem Thanks for your input guys, i'm going to give DRG another shot

The whole problem with DRG(besides the fact that there are tons of them) is they don't do damage against skeletons well, and thats most of what you fight 60-70. Everyone wants a monk then, but it seems most of the poor monks gave up to be DRK's on my server. Gah. >.<

I'm on Bahamut server and there is not a lot of drg's compared to other jobs like whm (peak hrs = 7x drg's 2xx whm's and 2xx pld's)

After lvl 50 it just gets plain hard to find party and after 60 it gets imposible for drg since drk / sam / mnk gets chosen over you any day... but frear not drg is one of the 2 jobs that can solo (if you lvl whm or rdm for subjob)

If you dont think drg's can solo try and look at the Dragoon Solo thread in Screenshots section ^^

Tip: be the one that starts the party then you wont have any other dmg class picked over you

Past 50 if you don't have a SPT or know a good tank/healer to create your own, you're going to be SOL a lot of the time.

As is my DRG is on hiatus. In long run DMG I can outdo *any* DRG in my level range, but when it comes to it, talking to people most don't like/want DRG because "they miss too much." I find this ironic because post 60 when DRKs get Guillotine, I notice they miss TONS in comparison, but noone dare mentions anynthing about that :3

Level a backup job. All I can say.

Well, i have got NO tells whatsoever in 4 days as lvl 39 Ninja/warrior. I've been on lfg status at least 10 hours a day. No other Ninjas to compete with, just a few noobish Paladins. I should just give up and go to a NA server. Its ridiculuous to see the japs with sucky jobs get pts in 20 mins and I wait 40 hours.
