When someone steals your Team's Brenner Flame, don't wack away at him for 10-30 points of damage as he runs to his base. Let someone DISABLE the person, then do away with them by quick damage, ala WS or nuke.
It's frustrating when you're trying to lullaby this playerand some pld using a 1h sword keeps waking them up, all the way to the opposing team's Brenner. Seriously, unless the person is on the verge of dying, DON'T MELEE HIM.

so far what my groups have been doing is gravity the person then take turns binding him. bind, have dds beat him up, once he starts moving again bind, beat him up, so on so forth. works very well most of the time.

Just have someone kite the postens while your team rapes a Brenner.

That always worked for us.

we just have one person solo the posten and the rest tear up the brenner (in no cap soloing postens is quite possible, and besides you got healers there to help you if something goes wrong)

btw i just saw rdm/brd in brenner. omg that has got to be the best job there. you got all the rdm spells + mages ballad + horde lullaby and horde lul always almost hit us >.> it was crazy. he also had a genbu shield and a joytoy, so he was tearin ppl up. of course mnk ate him alive but he was still amazingly annoying lol.

update
added more information on how to enter the game. it just seemed to small before.
added a whole lot more. and i mean a WHOLE lot.
added worthless but interesting stuff because i was bored (like definitions)

still wondering how something get stickied. moderators? /shrug (if u know tell me how and what else ill need. i always see "Sticky prz" next to the title but im not sure if thats what u do or what)

(You MUST be the level OR a higher level of the cap of the Brenner to enter an offical Brenner (e.g. Official Brenner capped at 50 would mean you must be level 50 or higher to join)!)

So a lvl 70 can participate in a 50 cap Brenner? I highly dislike level capped junk, or am I reading this wrong?

no you are correct. as long as you are higher than 50 or at lvl 50, you can join. so a lvl 50-75 player can join a lvl 50 brenner event, but they will be capped to 50. i will edit my guide that so it is more easy to understand.

update
i edited it. its easier to understand now.

Mirrinus :
The detectors (I think they're called Protans) are pretty strong. They hit hard, like T-VT exp mob hard.
I wouldn't really say so, I managed to solo one quite easily in a 50cap.

As a Taru BLM, they hit be for 50-70 with phalanx up and 69 with the stunbolt more often than not. However, thier nukes do 50-100 more thanmine did on PCs when I was going for -dmg build

What I meant was that Postens hit relatively hard compared to other players. However, it is true that they have below-average defense and HP. It's not too hard to kill them, but if left unchecked they can do some significant damage. They're like sporadic BLMs that melee as hard as DRKS, but with pathetic defense and HP compared to most mobs.

-the spells postens can use depends on the cap. StonegaII is devastating in 40 cap. They cast lots of dots which will frustrate mages who just sleep you repeatedly.

-postens will chase any opposing player that they detect; they have no real limit on where they can go. I had one chase me all the way back around the island once. They detect by sound or true sound (never had someone sneak me to test that). when someone attacks the brenner they will periodically reset hate to the person attacking the brenner, regardless of where they are. So, you can't just kite all the postens away permanently.

-postens attached to brenners without flammens will aggro players of the opposite team and hunt them down without mercy. Use this to your advantage to get your postens who don't have a flammen to guard involved in the fight instead of just idling.

-brenners don't regenerate HP. One strategy for winning a close match is to whittle down the opponents flammen-brenners evenly, and then at the end of the match just full-attack and steal their flammens just as time is about to expire.

-when you steal a flammen you have 2 minutes to get it to your own brenner. There is no bonus or penalty for the time it takes to achieve this. Nearing the end of the match, I would tend to hold onto flammens as long as you safely can, since they cannot attack your brenner until you cash in the flammen. One match I stole a flammen with about a minute left to play, and just ran out the back of the opponents base, with the intention of holding it until the match ended. Since only a Paladin was chasing me, I was able to withstand his assault until time expired and we won.

-you permanently gain 1 point every time you steal a flammen, even if your flammen runner gets killed before he returns the flammen. If the other team plays too defensively, a good strategy is to let them hold onto 3 flammens while you protect your own, and just intentionally fail to steal one their flammens to get a point edge. Nearing the end of the match, make sure you bring the flammen balance back to even (shouldn't be too hard since they have 3 brenners to defend and you only have 1) and you will win by virtue of having more steals.
