BCNM 40 Qu'Bias Arena
Battle name: Undying Promise

2 x Ghul-I-Beaban

1 Drk Skeleton type monster (scythe)
1 Blm Skeleton type monster (scythe)

Technically this BCNM only has 1 monster in it, but the monster reraises himself 4 times, so you have to kill him a total of 5 times. The first 3 fights are against the DRK version of Ghul-I-Beaban, and the last 2 fights are against the BLM version.

The DRK version of the fight is easy, his AOE cloud does blind effect, and sometimes he may do hell slash, as well as HP drain. He also does tier one black magic (fire, thunder, etc.) and also uses Absorb magics. You must defeat this version 3 times.

The 4th and 5th versions of Ghul-I-Beaban are the BLM versions. The black mage version of the skeleton does the AOE cloud attack which does slow effect. The BLM version uses hell slash, and drain more frequently from my experiences. The BLM also uses tier1 AOE magic spells (firaga, blizzaga, etc) and tier2 black magic (fire II, blizzard II, etc). For some reason when the BLM version is raised, he only is revived with about 80% of his HP intact, making it easier to kill him a second time around.

Recommended PT setup:
1 Nin/war 1 Mnk/war 1 Rdm/whm

That is what I am recommending because the party that did the BCNM before us set the record time with this setup. However my party setup was 1Mnk/war, 1Blm/whm, and 1 Rdm/blm. We had a bit of a hard time, but managed to finish the BCNM.

The rewards we got for doing this BCNM was:
-1 Jennet Shield (Rare)
Def:10 Vit+1
Lv. 38 PLD//DRK

-1 Elegant Shield (Rare)
Def:1 MP+6 CHR+1
Lv. 40 BLM/BRD/SMN

-Refresh
-Absorb-Str
-2x Bone chips

I hope this helps everyone out! Have fun BCNMing! Good Luck!

I was interested in this one, cause it looks like i'd actually be needed. But I checked the drops and they don't look that good imo.
