strategy is far more important than what jobs. but u will want a NIN and PLD and alot of healers.

Get alot of BLMs in main alliance, a couple of tanks, and some more BLMs or melee's.
Dont put WHMs in main alliance, it's a waste of damage.

You must construct additional black mages

black mages, have melees set up skillchain and lotsa black mages burst it, build tp on mobs around the area.

Have 2 meele only, make a SC for each time it comes back to you. Do it quick and let all your BLM MB. Build TP on nearby mobs. Meeling it sucks, so don't worry about it. If you want to force it in green eyes mode quick, fight it right where you pop it. Then run back around the corner to the left(I think west, by the big opening near that tower). Always have baraera/carrol up.

I did this sucka with LS about 3x a while back.

We only had about 3 BLM's


NIN would hold it

We had 3 different Melee's ready to SC each time he came back.

Any melee who wasnt SC'ing would Spirit's Within his ass each time he came back(even some RDM's lol)

Kurrea only took about 5-7 trips tops before we killed it.

He is cake.


Only thing to note is do not get TP in kurrea's path, he will bite lol.


i was trying to get tp and he ran by and whacked me for like 600+ dmg and then went to the alliance xD


Anyways throwing 50 BLM's at it is not nessasary.

If you're standing waaayyyy back you also ought to have someone put a pet or an avatar on it to keep him from going unclaimed and regening more of his health than he does with his soup.

The pet will ussually end up about 50% of the way between the alliance and the soup and they'll take swings at him as he runs back and forth.

I think about 70% of the massive regen problems people have with him arn't him curing himself, but that they let him go unclaimed and he does the massive autoregen thing.
