Ballistas on Unicorn always get canceled because very few join them. The only things that people care about is gil, God items, and chasing Mithras. Overtime, scores get erased and since not many people join Ballistas, the BP lists become empty and it gets set to default as shown above. People believe that +1 items make them a better person too. The players on Unicorn disgust me in various ways. I wish that everyone would stop being whining babies and play more Ballista. Do Ballistas get canceled constantly on any other servers like Unicorn?

Similar has happened on Diabolos. Incidentally, it occured after the Multi-Hit nerf, so take it as you will. Either people suddenly lost interest in a simulaneous mass, or they're still crying over not being able to unload 1k damage in a WS.

It's never been completely empty though, that's pretty pathetic. There's usually 10 entries, rarely breaking 200 anymore, all the way down to 120. Something needs to be done to attract people again, but I'm enjoying it temporarily. Teams sometimes are horrendously unbalanced, and I get every orifice in my body violated, and I still get a Bronze Chevron/Job Specific. Then I barely do anything that I consider noteworthy, and I get a Mythril. Now seems to be a great opportunity to adorn your character with Chevrons, although they're empty wins.

Would anybody like to tell me the Ballista situation on the Siren server? I'm coming back to play this week for Spring Break and it will kill me inside if it is a week of empty, pointless, or cancelled matches.

As for the two of your series, what about JP time? JP have always played more than NA.

EDIT: Was just thinking. I don't think Ballista is losing it's popularity just because of the Brenner patch. Don't get me wrong. I'm sure the WS "nerf" didn't help matters anyway. But around mid January, Ballista matches got cancelled, or low turnout, on Siren a LOT. It was around that time I also had my first 3 vs. 3 match ever (I kicked myself for this one because I went as RDM/RNG, which I like more in large group settings, but it is absolutely worthless in small groups where /WHM would've helped more)

Over the past few weeks, the Ballista scene on Fairy seems to be dying down a lot. Atleast for 60 caps. Usually there was only cancelled matches around when the 60 caps started at 1 P.M. Past few days have barely been minimum attendance.

The JP on the server (the ones I really enjoy playing anyway) still seem to attend but the NA scene kinda sharply declined and it's like Spring Break for some peoples so I dunno what's going on.

and no 60 or uncap has been canceled yet and brenner is booming as well

i supose its due to the friendships and rivalries everyone has made ^.^

i go every time becouse there are always people that droped me that i want revenge on XD and when i do they come after me and its a vicius cycle that continues to draw attention

the biggest attraction to 60 cap are all the regular big hitters wich i will name a few <<== few
Arucard,Anathema,Bure,Maoc,Teen,Ouji,Zhoutenryu,Zaryun,Dantesparta,Shinakuma, I supose you can count myself in there but i dont think im that big. These are the people , that people try to beat, these are the people that drop the most people. If at least one shows up people will come to try and kill them.

Our very own Maat's cap wearing Reisu mnk/drg <= so much haste and damage taken -%, jesus phew, saw the man take on 2 war/nin and drk/nin he droped them all and was quarrying for petra as he raped their sorry hides.
and the unstopable galka tank Droopyelephant mnk/nin <= in every match i have seen him in i have never seen him die ever.


I supose the problem is you have to many ocasional players and not many die hard big hitters

On Garuda, only the really good people play ballista and usually if I join I get my ass handed to me ; ; also, alot of people have 100+ merits and its just unfair how much more dmg you can do in the lower caps

After Brenner's disappointment, I just got tired of Ballista. It stopped being fun(to me of course), and since you gain nothing but enjoyment outta it, I stopped. Don't know why, never really questioned it. I guess the multi-hit nerf hit some of my motivation, but it definatly wasn't the only reason.

I agree; ballista typically takes the form of 1v1 and players showing off their leetness. Last time I played as blm in ballista, I got yelled at several times for trying to kill the opposing team b/c ppl were pairing off for 1v1. Melees wanted me to cure them so they could top off hp and 1v1 again.

I have rarely joined a ballista match that had good communication and basic strategy.

Brenner is a lot more fun, but blm kinda suck in that now that people have learned not to team up to avoid sleepga and -aga spells.

Ballista scene on Ramuh has died down a lot

I'd say roughly 90 percent of 30s/40s get cancelled

About 80 percent of 50s get cancelled

People only seem to flock to 60s and uncapped now. /sigh
