True, the Doll Festival was pretty much Japanese-only as far as attendance and participation went. Americans are so jaded, if there's no new equipment or '1337' items they want nothing to do with it.

lol im not american, i think the doll festival lost it's charm after the first one. I dont like when SE repeats it's festival events, i prefer when we see something new.

And the thing is, when we really want a particular seasonal event put back in (Doom toad in saruta, twinkling treants global wide) they refuse to stick them back in!

I liked that event for the Yukata where they warp you to some random place with HL mobs and you have to find the ???, and receive a picture of Mithra/Female Hume/ Female Tarutaru.

I enjoyed the two month long Summer festival. Happiest days of my Vana'diel life.
Although, those were the budding days of my romance with my husband.. this year may be a bit more painful.

Sparkling/Twinkling Treants wer eonly there for the people that Started when the game first came out for PC, and of course the JPs. It was the X-mas '03 event and its what gave the servers outpost warping.

the best event was the sparkling giant treants. : : its fun seeing a tree kill everyone and everyone has to poke it to death litrally. And u lost no exp. so ppl were just seting hp at outpost and just trying to kill it like crazy. that was tons of fun
