know what's up with that? That one blackish flying mob that appears in the background rarely and then disappears

suddenly. I've been told its supposed to be bahamut but doesnt really look like him.

There are two of them and they seem to frolic together, if I can find screens I took i'll post

birds too, but closer inspection they are definatly dragon or wyverns, and are MASSIVE in size

It's

supposedly related to the CoP Storyline, but it serves no real purpose. It's just part of the background

animation, like the birds. Though, others have already mentioned that

I have

seen the flying thing fly over the lake in the meadows. If that is what you are talking about it is wyvern.

What area of lufaise are you in when u see it, or am i talking about the one you are?

in Final Cutscene it says

Wyvern's have stopped flying Above the Safehold."

Other then that they serve no purpose.
