The Devs
said that they will be level 30 quests. Actually, I think they just said "quested." For all we know, it's 75 :/

Only problem with this is Xbox people will come, non beta xbox. Mixing brand new people
(80% preteens I'd imagine) with 4 year old JP vets....not gonna mix nice at all.

Yeah, i
think i'd rather see the new jobs with something like a lvl 50 req to quest them, cull some of the n00bs from
being able to access the new jobs so quickly.
I plan on lvling COR eventually, but i dread the time i
hit the dooms with it...all the painful, eye bleeding macros...oh the macros
"Avast ye Snipper! i'll see
you hang by yer scurvy claws! arr..arr...arr i say...yar, tis a fun day in the dooms, the booty, the
pillaging..the walking the plank."
And you know there will be a few dozen ppl crowded in the boat down
on siren beach at any given time.

They'll
be just like any other adv. job. Need Lv.30 and to do the quest, thats it. Unlocking SAM (which was added in RotZ)
was no different then unlocking PLD, so why would the new jobs added in this add on be any different? Lv.30 and
being able to do the flag quest, thats all you'll need.

It might
have a lv30 req., but getting the quest (Getting to the continent and all that) might mean you need a powerful job
(like 50+ probably more?) In order to be able to unlock the job.
I really hope this isnt the case, what
with my new character being low level.:con

Consider
that neither Tavnazia or Elshimo required you to be more than level 30 to access them, I doubt it'll be any
harder to get to new areas and unlock the new jobs than it was to unlock SAM, NIN, etc. 'course, as with most of
those jobs, soloing the quests at level 30 may pose a problem =P
From a new player's perspective, there's
no reason that BLU should be more appealing than say, DRG, if they are presented with 18 jobs instead of 15 from
the start. For older players, those jobs are fresh and new, but to new players, everything will be. 'course,
that's likely the reason for the enhancements planned for most jobs, make/keep them interesting for existing
players XD

Well, ToAU content is geared more for High-Level players than low to mid range players. I have a feeling it's
going to have a fight that not even an alliance of 30's can do. Just a hunch.
And for you guys who don't
believe me on the 'geared more for High-Level players' comment, check SE's updates. It was a very recent one
that stated exactly that.

What I
think they mean by that more is the new activities presented will be intended for higher level players. Besieged,
Assault, etc. Hopefully new ENMs or HNMs with good loot, etc. It's a very common complaint that endgame content
is rather poorly designed, and I think the announcement was basically made to try and get the higher level
playerbase excited about the expansion (which, well, we are).
Both of the previous expansions added high
level content, but also plenty of stuff you could do at low level.

Though i'm not afraid of a little skirmish, i'm sure there will be plenty of shouts to get the job unlocked
by the newbies.
I dread how many will ask me for help when I run through Jeuno stark-nekkid as BLU. >.>;
