Im a PS2 user and Im kinda getting worried I think SE might eventually stop support of the ps2 for ffxi do you

think that since ps3 is backwards compatible with the ps2 that it would support ffxi???? I mean I love ffxi and i

dont really want to buy xbox 360 and then buy the games all over again since ive already bought them on ps2 or buy

a new computer and buy all the games and expansions, anyone know for sure or any guesses?

yah most hints from Ken Kutaragi are leaning towards a 60 GB HDD being bundled w/ PS3, so I'd

imagine you'd just have to pay the 40-50 for a new copy of the game w/ all the expansions more then likely. But

hey look on the bright side if it does happen(saying they ditch Ps2) then the game could possibly get a nice

facelift depending if SE will get off their lazy asses, and more unique armor and characters sha'll flourish!!



PS - Also I recall SE saying in an interview long ago they'd probably support ps3 if it supports an HDD,

and in the recent interview the dev team said they need to see more info on the system, and it's obvious that the

HDD is one of the most important parts of ps3, so Sony can't screw SE again like with ps2~
