Ok, i'm Woodworking 94+0 now.
I have only Bonecraft (60+1) and Smithing(31), GS (3) ^^;

What u think i should do for skillups and how much money u think i could need?

I could not figured out till now what i should do.
Mostly i think to push Smithing and GS to 60, but that takes too long and costs me too much ;_;

Till i know what to do i spend on making GP für Guild Items biggrin.gif

So any Idea 94-100? biggrin.gif

From a friend:

Woodworking is easy until 94. It costs a ton of gil, and is a giant loss after that. (Edit: With a light at the end of the tunnel of course)

Cythara Anglica to 98, you can make the ancient and ebony lumber, you might even hq some. then steel or iron splitter to 100. shouldnt be too tough depending on the amount of petrified logs you can find daily.

Please do not give out bad information. He DOES NOT want smithing at or near the smithing cap of this item. Actually, you will want to be just where you dont want it closer than 10lvls to subs cap for this particular recipe. The whole point and appeal of synthing this item is to break them and hope to keep the adaman.

Yes, smithing@50 and overwhelming Wind Energy in his Mog House as well to cut down on critical fails.

will 50 smith be good enough to attempt break synth for this tho? I heard if you're too low, you'll break and lose materials more than keeping them? might be better to get smith to 53 instead?

personally i do not agree with what some of you say. Yes I do agree that you will want to make Steel or Iron Splitters, but if you do not want to level smithing to 55~60 then you can do another recipe which requires you to have 25~30'ish alchemy.

Kinkobo's > Wind Crystal + Primate Staff, Ethereal Vermillion Lacquer.(cap @ 103Woodworking, 25 Alchemy)

*******NOTE*******
The Eth. Vermillion Lacquer may be extremely hard to find, so I recommend finding an Alchemist
with the key item "Alchemic Ensorcellment and Anima Synthesis" to make you some, on Cerberus
that you Tru

because at the time I was 96 I did not know if I was going to level smithing I bought about 9 Primate Staff's from AH (about 270k per staff, resell albeit slowly @ 170k [on Cerberus]). Anyways I do not think they are bad and require the least amount of gil being invested in the sub.

But on that fact 94>98 make Cythara Angelica's. If you are lucky and no one else is buying the petrified logs/ancient lumber it can go down to as low as 150k a stack. Of course when I was 94-98 wood, so were 3 other people so prices were around 500-600k a stack so it was a HUGE loss. I personally had horrible skillup's on them Warranting about 15M in losses.

Now after you hit 98, please do Lancewood Lumber. It is a cheap alternative to get you one level. On Cerberus the price of log's are about 50~60k and usually stay around there. But Lancewood lumber is a fairly good skillup costing only about 60k a synthesis which at 98 is extremely good!

Lancewood Lumber > Wind Crystal + Lancewood Log (Cap @ 99 Woodworking)
Ok and finally Iron Splitters and Steel Splitters are a 2 for 1 synthesis. If you do not want to cap out Wood doing Iron Splitters (which require the Adaman Ingot) then be patient and just buy every Iron Splitter that goes onto the AH. They will cost about 150k and if you know a friend who can make you Steel Walnut Lumber then your set as it is quite cheap to get made. Anyways...

Steel Splitter > Wind Crystal + Iron-Splitter, Steel Walnut Lumber (Cap @ 100 Woodworking)

If you want to do the 2 for 1 synthesis and have your MH stuffed with Insane wind energy (Wicker Boxes I think work best) then go and do the following...

Iron Splitter > Wind Crystal + Walnut Lumberx2, Adaman Ingot (Cap @ 100 Wood, 60 Smithing)
and then you basically get another free synth as Steel splitters arent costly so...
Steel Splitter > Wind Crystal + Iron-Splitter, Steel Walnut Lumber (Cap @ 100 Woodworking)

At 50 smithing even with overwhelming energy you will break and lose alot. A trick I used was to get to 52/53 and then get smithing advanced support. This will put you in the 'effective' skill range and minimize your losses.

Cythara's might be a pain but its the best option for sitting down and synthing multiple synths. Lancewoods were rare for me to grab more than 2-3 at a time so I just synthed those when I could.
