Ok, the

time on my PS2 is set correctly. But in POL and FFXI it shows 1 hour off. It shows 1 hour behind what real time

is.. Any way I can fix this? I've been looking everywhere.. Hella annoying.

been an "error" since beta testing and they refuse to change it. I think it has something to do with Japanese not

taking part in daylight savings time.... or something.

The PS2 =

fails when it comes to daylight savings time.

Here's what you have to do:

- Go to your PS2's

System Configuration
- NEVER adjust the system clock (i.e. never add or subtract an hour when daylight savings

begins and ends)
- Instead, change your time zone from "Winter Time" to "Spring Time"
- A little sun thingy

will appear at the top of the screen next to the system clock, and the clock will move up an hour.
- Go to

FFXI, clock should be okay now.

In winter when daylight savings time ends, do the same thing, only change

"Summer Time" to "Winter Time". Never adjust the system clock manually for daylight savings time. That's how to

do it. Annoying? Yes it is. /sigh
