Are they

going to be high level like COP or lower level like Rize of Zilart?

It's

any man's guess right now, but like all expansions so far, there will be atleast one surreal endgame zone/region.

Lumoria, Li'Telor, and zome not-so-Zilartian new zone that some believe is going to be subaquatic, subterranean,

or superterranean (word?), many believe.

And on lower level zones, I believe that it might very well be

similar to CoP, in the sense that there might be a few zones with lower-level enterances, but when you go in

deeper, things start getting much tougher, fast, and aside from that, basically 30+ zones. But this bit on low-

level zones is personal opinion with 0 support for it from what we know already.

Well square

said they didn't like how the capped area's turned out cause it was such a bitch to do, so maybe they'll

rethink the process.

Honestly,

I think the majority of the areas will be mid range to max lvl, think of all the uncapped CoP areas. I'm thinking

that most areas mobs will be like base lvl of +40ish. Maybe some lower lvl areas whern you go to do the job quests

since supposedly they'll be allowing people to get the new jobs at lvl 30.

this is a

quote from offical site on assault, but i think it will answer questions for this thread, "The FINAL FANTASY XI

development team created the "Assault" system to provide a means of casual enjoyment for high-level players--

the main target audience of the Treasures of Aht Urhgan expansion disc
. " i would assume most of the new

zones will be geared toward endgame high lvl players

That sucks, I mean

sure, high level's DO need some more stuff...but lower levels are limited imo. All they can do is

level/craft...

I would

like to see an alternative to Valkurm in one of these zones, I hate that damn place.

Or do the huge amount of quests, missions, etc already

in the game.

You're low level for a time. You're high level indefinitely. It makes a lot more sense to

add content for people who have potentially done all the other content than for people who have yet to explore

most of what's already in the game.

Valkurm has alternatives, and has since NA release. People just

swarm there because that's where everyone else is, and pre-chocobo, pre-teleport travel sucks.

low level and high level have no great difference. Getting high(er) level simply unlocks more content for you.

There is no set 'end-game'. Once you are level 30, there is plenty to do(leveling and leveling other jobs

included). Start looking at the game at a different angle if you can't see that.

I've seen half of end-game stuff, I know what there is. My point is that the expansion pack was

an oppurtinity to add more mainstream levelling areas.

For example; later on you've got Bibiki Bay and

Boyahda Tree (2 examples of a few more), both of which are very mainstream. Valkurm Dunes, Qufim, Yuhtunga and so

on are realisticly the only levelling areas for those level ranges if you consider that VERY few (I mean one or

two at a time) go elsewhere.
To be honest though, the real reason I ask is because I deleted my 66 Dragoon

and hoped that I could experience atleast some of the ToAU stuff on this character even though it is low level.
