Happened

on FL once for me, restart PC, login FFXI (normal window not a windoer) and try then.

getting stuck at the Friends list screen or if i get to my char i instantly go to R:0. the POL support page will

not load -.-

guesing somethings up on pol's side because my wifes account wont work either hmmmm wtf is going on!!!

acccess the POL support site but others i have asked have accessed it.

access it to dammm se why dont u have a 24hr support line they r useless after awhile the retrieval system fails

and loads to pol main screen but noting pops up even friend list doesnt work ahhhhhh

the same problem here i use windower and it dosent go past friendlist,

when i load FFXI up normally it goes

past friendlist but then says there are no characters on my account.

friend can't get on either. EU... I can get on fine, I'm also from UK but I use NA version of FFXI.

having issues all day trying to connect. :-/ On PS2 as soon as it gets the DNAS check it just stalls.

Maybe turning

disabling and re-enabling you connections would help but leaving your computer off for an hour accomplishes

nothing.

I've tried all the "usual" fixes that circulate mostly around version updates, but I've got

nothing. I got into S/E's chat support earlier, but there's a message that pops up saying they're having

problems with login, try back later, etc.

I think the only thing we can do is the same as we always do

after a version update, and that's keep trying and hope we get lucky.

If you want some false hope then try

these things:

1. If your computer hooks directly to your internet connection disable and then re-enable

your network connection.
2. If you're using a router then log into the router and do a release and

renew.
3. Start >> Run >> ipconfig /flushdns

unaware of a problem... -.- the fact this is the 3rd post on KI about the same problem they better be aware of

it.

they have no idea what is wrong,

got me to shut down firewall and virus scanner

didnt help so hmm
