My biggest issue is, they can't even talk to me. Example I was working on a job where i was fixing a guys computer. At the same time a group of painters were well painting. I went home to grab a CD, I come back and finish up. Well turns out no one was home except these painters. And I was supposed to ask them where the employer went. I felt like I was in a bad cartoon. We had no idea what each other were saying and in the end bursted out laughing. I had to wait till the employer got back, a waste of my time. I probably made more than the painters did fixing a PC issue. >.>

I, myself, am a child of immigrants into the US, and I will say this about this surge of Mexican immigrants:

A.) The United States of American does not need to cater to these folks language-wise. My parents worked their ass off to learn English, and these illegal immigrants better damn well NOT be an exception.
B.) These illegal immigranst need to apply for U.S. citizenship. Every other immigrant of the United States of America has, and they don't have to worry about anything anymore. Really, these folks need to do both themselves and everyone else a favor with that.
C.) We're pretty much S.O.L. with how these immigrants are doing the jobs that no one already living here wants to do. Yes, even my parents took on janitor-level jobs before getting to where they are now.

I give props for the illegal immigrants who honestly try, and I know a lot more of those folks than trouble-makers: that's the great thing about living in a "small town" state. But the ones who do not appreciate this free country and bring in their gangters, violence, and other social problems, no quarter for them. Too bad, though, that both of these people will be treated equally as things change, and I sincerely pray that the good ones break themselves away from the bad onse as quickly as they can.

Here's the major difference between every other fucking nation in existance, and here:

First off, language: Sure, you get lucky and get places that are nice enough to provide multi-lingual announcements and whatnot, but the standard around the nation is that you speak their language.

Here, it's the other way around; I, as the employee, am at fault for not being able to speak spanish, or god forbid, SPANGLISH. (If you don't know what that is, try calling any popular computer manufacturer's support line. If you get that person who only pronounces 1/6 syllables of a given english sentence...apply a slightly hispanic tone of voice to it, and that's essentially spanglish.)

I should in NO WAY be obligated to speak another language out in commonplace America. Other languages are handy, and I can understand their need at places right along the border, or places that accomodate international traffic (i.e. airports), but I shouldn't have to repeat my order 4 fucking times at McDonalds because the people working there don't speak english at all, and instead only understand their twisted translation of the contents of the menu. (It came down to them eventually calling their manager who spoke english and spanish quite well, and he read off the order and corrected what was wrong.) The same frustration applies when I'm taking your phone calls at work (Nationwide computer/network support for the military): Yes, I'm here to support you, but this is not an international support center, and if you can't speak english in a way that it is understandable across a digital phoneline, I should not be responsible. Go take some fucking lessons in the language, it's not hard, and in the case of being in the military, it's provided FREE. It's also FREE if you would actually naturalize and become a normal citizen like the system intended you to. But you didn't know that, did you; since you just decided it was a good idea to jump the fence.


Second, culture: It's great that you come from a rich heritage in your home country. Really, quite fabulous. BUT YOU LIVE HERE NOW. It is not a matter of being "unfair" or "biased" toward your culture if we happen to be lacking a Fiesta day, or whatever bullshit you want to come up with. You can celebrate whatever holidays you want, that's your buisness. But I am in no way obligated to celebrate, take part, or even acknowledge the existance of said holiday, just because it's a tradition where you come from.


Honestly, I have no problems letting people through our borders. You want to be part of the USA? Outstanding. Welcome. But you're going to play by our rules, not demand our rules be modified to accomodate you. End of fucking story.

I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family and i would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this. I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas, and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vincente Fox, that I'm on the way over? Please let him know i will need the following.

1 ) Free medical care for my entire family.

2 ) English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services i might need, whether i use them or not.

3 ) All government forms need to be printed in english.

4 ) I want my kids to be taught by english speaking teachers

5 ) Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.

6 ) I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at thier school with the Mexican flag lower down.

7 ) Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

8 ) Cool I will need a local Mexican driver's license so i can easily access to government services.

9 ) I do not plan on having any car insurance, and i won't make any effort to learn local traffic laws.

11 ) I plan to fly the U.S. Flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on 4th of July. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

12 ) I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don't enforce any labor taxes or laws.

13 ) Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain i might place on the economy.


I know this is an easy request because you already do all theses things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure Pres. Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely. However, if he gives you any trouble, just invite him to go quail hunting with your V.P.
