I

guess I am trying to figure out if this is a game I should go buy now, or wait until the x-pack comes out because

I will get all 3. My experience with several other MMO's is that it will be the game and whatever other x-packs

compiled into one. Meaning it would be money wise to just hang in until next Tuesday.

Thx

Buying the expansion pack does not come with the entire game. You'd need to buy the bundle for that.

Unfortunatly, ToAU Is purchased as JUST the expansion.
Unless you are buying the XBox 360 version, which

includes all expansions + game.
For the computer/PS2 (Which I am Assuming You Are Looking Into)
There are a

few different bundles:
1. Game + RoZ + CoP = This would be best bet, then buy ToAU.
2. Just buying FFXI

includes RoZ with it, then buy CoP and ToAU seperatly.

So if my pricing is correct:
Game + RoZ and CoP

Pack = 30 Dollars
ToAU Expansion = 30 Dollars.
And There You Go.

That's why I said bundle-- it has all expansions... kinda... You see, currently, the only bundle available is

the Vanadiel Collection, and the problem with

that is that it does not include ToAU, although in time, another bundle will come that includes ToAU, though not

sure when.

You

probably won't need the expansion at first. I suggest getting the game with RoZ and CoP then when you get higher

level you can buy expansion pack.

Ezpansion

is DVD format only for PC though. Which sucks because I don't have a DVd drive(only CD and Cd burner) or the

money to spend on an external one either since my Dell seems to have the drives permanetly installed, and not

exchangeable.

You

should be able to find the Expansion on many bittorrent and filesharing websites, which would allow you to buy the

expansion on DVD, download and install the ISO from the net, and continue on your merry little way.

or... you could but the PS2 version ^^

Game

+ RoZ = $100
CoP = $20
ToAU = $30
Network Adapter = $20

PC version = $60
Xbox360 version = $50

PS2 version = $170 ohmy.gif

Three cheers for PS2!!
