Hello lol.... I was challenged on Caitsith for a tarutaru melee showdown one vs one battle. It would be a 30 cap fight and a 60 cap fight.
My opponents are:
A tarutaru dragoon who focuses on DEX/ACC and uses /NIN and /WAR alot. He spams Jump, and is known for his critical damage. His flaws are low hp, but his damage makes up for that.
A tarutaru dark knight who focuses on STR/ATK and uses /WAR most of the time. He uses Drain/Aspir/Absorbs alot, and does good damage. His flaws are slow tp gain, but his mana makes up for that.
(Please note that its one vs one)
I was looking to level some tarutaru melee job to beat them both.
My choices are WAR, MNK, THF, DRK, BST, SAM, and DRG.
I am willing to level any of the above to be my mess around Pvp job..
Can someone post some strategy for killing my opponents and state possible weakness and help me out for my decision for a job to level. (Possible advantages to each job)
Thank You! =)

I would go as thf, thf is a solid job and really hard to handle if you are not experienced.
For a sure win you will need x-bow capped
DRK: Start fight with no buffs until engaged he will stun and put utsi(if he subs nin, but if he doesnt sleep him and the you should coast the rest of the fight between sleep bolts when shadows are down and bloody bolts for restoring hp) back up stun, it wont last long, after stun shoot a bolt then your swings should take his last shadows then sleep him and put shadows up followed by a bloody bolt(you should probly have a macro) if he hit you(which he probly didnt).
The rest of the fight you should sleep him when he trys to poisonga and put shadows up if he gets poisona off see the first paragraph. For weaponskills sleep him and SATA.
DRG: This fight should be a little easier start fight with no buffs first thing sleep bolt him before he first swings(then sleep wryven if its out) put shadows up, then just swing away until shadows go down then sleep when timers on utsi is up and when you have TP to SATA. Keep wryven asleep and shadows up the fight should be easy.
Edit: sorry if its flawed best i could do.

For the 30 cap, I'd say thf/nin or drk/whm. thf would involve using a bunch of status-effect bolts, basically. With drk/whm you could cast banishga to remove his shadows if he's /nin, then silence him. You can also paralyze him, slow, and cure yourself (for when drain's not up). Those two jobs are about the only ones that you can take if he uses his wyvern. You'll need to sleep it (or him), or you won't stand a chance. Though I suppose you could bring your drg and even out the odds....
For the 60 cap... Just about any of your jobs would work, really. Monk/sam would be good: You could third eye his ws and counter his normal hits, not to mention meditate for quick TP. drk/sam is good, too, for stun and drain. And drg/sam would give you your wyvern. He'd probably just sleep it, though, so I don't know about that.
