I think the

reference to everything coming from "the Void" could mean that Aht Urghans dont believe in Altana... which could

lead to some conflicts and such with Sandy or other nations/people

EDIT: fixed the link

i sent it to some one at my school and they didnt like it so he got his damn emo freinds. So they

come stand around me, so i pull out one of thoughs plastice knifes from the cafetria and start to cut myself and

say "Can't you just feel my pain bleed away!" then one of them kicked me in the leg and then just walked

away.

Proof the emo kids cant fight.!

First

off, awesome find! I LOVE that music!! If that's Al Zahbi music, I'll be spending a lot of time in that

city...!

I highly doubt that, simply because I do not think it's figurative. I would

think that it is a literal bit, there purely for background information on EoAU. But if you insist on looking at

it figuratively, it can be seen as a wave to Hinduism, which has *a lot* to do with the void.

"Never had a

fear of the infinite or of the void.' Hinduism has embedded within it, a complex philosophy of nothingness,

seeing everything in the world as arising from the pregnant void, known as Sunya.'

The ultimate goal of

the Hindu was to free himself from the endless cycle of pain found in continual reincarnation and reconnect with

the Nothingness that is the source and fundament of the All."

-Charles Seife [source: Richer by Asia - By

Edmond Taylor p. 297- 300]

Futhermore, the Serphantking really reminds me of Hinduism because a cobra is

the symbol of Vishnu.

There seem to be a lot of various nods to Middle Eastern and Indian subcontinent

cultures in this expansion pack, after all...

Oh, and for everyone who finds the text to scroll

too quickly, here's the transcribed text:

The black background of the flag represents the

fundamental tenet of the Walahra Philosophy: "From the void all things are born. To the void all things return."

The center is dominated by a likeness to the Serphantking, Zahak. The twin-headed snake is known as the invincible

symbol of General Ulthalam, the first emporer of the Majaab dynasty, and founder of the current imperial family.

After crushing the former ruler of Aht Urhgan, Ulthalam declared that he would set his armies towards the east and

west. He had the flag designed so that the serphant's coils protected the center, and the bared fangs of each

head faces to the right and left.
