Alright ive played before and was a more melee character and never got to experience any other thing. Now i want

to be a mage class but i still want to go back to melee. So what i mean is i want to play ever job whats the best

race?

races can play all jobs equally well depending on the skill of the player.

It's

true that race can be overwritten by a good player. But if you're talking raw stats:

Galka: High HP and

Vit. Low Int, Mnd and MP. Strong tanks as they have alot of HP and don't take TOO much damage due to High Vit.

But Low MP makes them harder to deal with as mages

Elvaan: High Strength and Mind. Low MP and Int. Primed

for Monks and Most anything else that relies on melee damage. They have a harder time as Rdms and Blms due to

weak MP and Int

Hume: Balanced. Not really Best or Worst for any job.

Mithra: High Agl and Dex.

Low Vit and Chr. Primed for Thf, Rng and Nin with Higher agl and Dex. They do struggle as Plds and Bsts due to

lower Vit and Chr

Tarutaru: High MP Agl and Int. Low HP and Vit. These little guys make mage jobs pretty

easy with tons of MP and High Int. They suffer a bit in the mnd area. Low HP and Vit gives them a harder time

playing as Plds.

race stats.

Elvaan or

Galka excell at melee jobs. (WAR, MNK, etc.)

Taru excell at Mage jobs. (Black mage is the more popular Taru

choice.)

Humes are for people who are not sure what job they want. (We rock at everything)

Mithra

are just there.
