I'm

really pissed right now so a lot of this may not come out in complete thoughts or sentences. My best friend had a

couple infractions with the GMs over swearing or cursing, whatnot. So today he places a GM call in castle O

reporting botting RMTs and the GM responds with basically: "well you use a windower, that's your third

infraction, here have a perma-ban." I'm really tired of GMs abusing this kind of power, but that's not the issue

here.

Has anyone had any luck, been successful in appealing a potential perma-ban? How do you go about it?

The GM told him that there was a 3 day suspension followed by a review that had already been completed and that he

was banned permanently. I don't want my buddy to get booted for something this ridiculous, it's a big part of

why I play at all. Any help, experience with this kind of matter?

friend mention that that has a windower or something that can only be seen using a windower plug-in? if something

like that was mentioned, then the account can be marked for ban and/or termination.

"the log proves your use of a windower, this is against TOS, blah blah" and he admitted to using it afterwards.

When I make a GM call, I need shit taken care of, not to have him scold/warn/suspend/ban me for using a windower

to access the rest of my computer while waiting 8 hours for an invite. "Thank you for your GM call, instead of

helping our player base out, I've decided to just ban you for shit everyone does." I could understand repeated

offenses of cursing, like he had, but since those he'd been polite to the GMs. Permabanning for a 1st offense

just doesn't sit right with me at all. Same goes for the complete neglect of the call he placed.

I call

the police because someone's robbing my house, the police come and arrest me. No. Not the way it should work.

had a flagged account then. You can attest the ban, https://secure.playonline.com/supportus/index.html , but long

as it involves the windower, a 3rd party program that can be used for cheating, its not likely it will get

over ruled. Maybe if he aggrees to remove the program from his PC, they'll let it slide.
