I was at gamestop earlier, and they won't get it until tomorrow. Fry's Electronics gets it later today when their trucks roll in.

Nobody can access any ToAU content until the 20th anyway, but damn it really grilled my bacon when neither had it. >.<

Oh well, not much of a loss except bragging rights on who got it first... meh...

From what I've heard, nobody actually has the game in yet. You can't actually use the new content until like, tomorrow any way.

its the 19th not the 20th, it was a mistake what they posted on their website which has now been fixed. It doesnt matter anyhow u cant use the content til the 19th, p.s. game stop shipped it out a day EARLY thats why it says "Pre Release", they will send it the 18th so u will recieve it the same day it comes out

probably depends on the size of the city. i live in a town of 100K people so i get it tomorrow. im sure if you are atl, nyc, cha-town it is a different case. i kinda wanted to read the box when bored in sky tonight...not tonight.

anyways, this thread is more about gamespot delaying things a day for everything, which does suck. i forgot they do this, from now on ill just be more carful and get things at places like Fry's Electronics or somethin.

Nobody seems to understand that 18th is the SHIPPING date. it begins its journey from the magical pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. the journey anywhere from 1 to xxx days later, when the copies actually make it to the store. go stand outside the establishment where they're actually creating the DVDs and mug the first guy out with a box labled FFXI and you can have yours as early as you want it.

Game stop by me had them in but wouldn't sell them til tomorrow.. but I could "prepay and reserve" one while they lasted... so I did... I can go pick it up as soon as the store opens in the morning.. They were already almost out of what they got in... so many people reserving them... I'd ask to see if the one by you does this... at least you would be guaranteed yours first thing....
