Dashiel :
Question.
Are these all the available spells to learn at the moment?
And seeing that you need to gain exp to learn an ability from a monster, does this mean that if you don't get certain skills and keep leveling you will have missed them forever?

There are classes such as the beastmen that will still /check as EP to 75's, but whether they use the same skills or not I am unsure about.
I think someone else said that it appears to be harder to learn an ability if you are past the level that you are able to use it at.

Glad you like the chart ^^ I think I'll add colors to the classes later, but for now I just got ToAU

Disregard that I guess, I'll of course post here when I do update it ^^.
Edit: In that case, URL changed to http://www.gilbert.3lo.net/FFXI/Images/Blu...Wheel%201.0.png for organizing purposes.
TsukasaX :
I believe it only has to be Easy Prey or harder to learn a spell, instead of gaining EXP.

I think this is true, but I'll need to do my own BLU tests.

Is there a chance that you fail to learn an ability? For instance my BLU is now Lv.3. In Sarutabaruta I learned Pollen and Foot Kick with little problem. Just got the mob's health as low as possible, turned around, waited for it to use the move, then killed it. When I went to Gustaburg to learn Sandspin, I was hit with it at least 3 times using the same method and I did not learn it. I allowed plenty of time after the TP attack hit to make sure it registered, I got 30 exp per kill, and I failed 3 times. Grrrr..
Also something a friend in my LS noticed- His BLU is Lv.14, had Sprout Smack and Wild Oats equipped, and intimidated a beast. Is it possible SE added in something a little extra? Like if you buff up on Plantoid abilities you get a Beast Killer effect?

Cursed Sphere is an undead ability learned from ghosts (ex: Banshee).
Queasyshroom is a plantoid ability.

Governator :
That doesn't work either. I did power attack for 5 hours across two nights, and I unequipped my sword and just punched it and pollen when needed until the beetle used the move, waited a few seconds for caution, and proceeded to spam kick and oats like mad until it died. Used azure 3 times over the course of 2 nights.
So far, I'm like, 0/100

Kurokikaze :
I'm not sure if this has been brought up already and if it has I apologize.
Anyways... Apparently we get Job Traits depending on what combination of Spells we have set. So far I've seen:
Beast Killer = Sprout Smack + Wild Oats <-- Thanks Kune
Undead Killer = Unknown
Auto-Regen = Sheep Song + Healing Breeze <-- Thanks Tala
Post here if you guys find any other combinations. Would be nice to get Auto-Refresh hehe ;D

Very impressive list, and nice detailed info. One thing I may suggest is to add a suggestion of where to kill the mob to learn the spell and what level mob would be soloable. Yes this may sound like a lot of work, but it is a sticky and could still use this improvement.

Burst Affinity (Level 40)
Makes it possible for your next "magical" blue magic spell to be used in a Magic Burst.
Burst Affinity is level 25 ^-^ I already have it

Frenetic Rip is a physical multi-hit WS used by Imps. The only one I've ever seen use it though is Bukki, the NM for the Die is Cast quest. Imps are demons, they intimidate me with my Crimson boots on
Hysteric Barrage is a physical multi-hit WS used by Merrows/Lamie, which I think are considered Beastmen.

You have Poison Breath listed as vermin-type. Has anyone gotten this yet to confirm? My belief is that it comes from undead wolves, as we already have one crawler move.
