No need to flame anyone for anything, in my opinion, hence I didn't.
I just warned him that saying that was likely to get him flamed. :/

there some difference between saying "iron bullets are what makes you worth" and "get iron bullets if you can, they're better"...
I'd always take a COR that can actually buff the party over a full-merited RNG in RAcc gear that uses Rolls on himself, doesnt refresh mages or is uncapable to stick 4 buffs total because he's too busy parsing damages. and i met many of them, really.
"rolls are what makes you worth", imho. learn them, use them, then mind about bullets. otherwise play RNG.
on the other side, i'm saying that I think it's worth saving cash for the upcoming update, because as CORs we should invest first on gear that moves to improve our party's role, meaning the Rolls and Draws. there's no such equip right now, so unless you are billionairs and can buy everything you wish, I suggest waiting just a few more days.

Hey buddy, here's the thing.
Good CORs do both.
As standard.
Bad CORs do bad at one or the other. You admit to purpously letting the DD side of your job slip. Guess what that makes you?
Right. Have you heard the saying "No man but a fool will discuss that which he cannot understand"? it means "Only idiots talk about things they know nothing about".
Don't give advice on a job you're bad at, please.

I just wrote iron bullets aren't worth their cost. this has nothing to do with using food or Racc gears to do damages.
i tried both ammos, and x2 cost of irons is not worth the 10% extra damage; each level this saves me 100k i can stack and wait to spend on some new gear to improve my COR.
you disagree? fine with me. you still wrote a really good COR guide

so is it real that , since the af release , int is taken in the quick draw dmg ?
i heard this a lot
does someone notice a difference now ?
maybe that can explain the int+ on the legs.

I thought someone tested raising stats with BRD songs and nothing made any difference o_o;;

so why int on legs (._.)?
cause SE has to put something on it and then they make a random choice ? x)
really stranges people

Why did they put MND on the gloves? 'cause CORs are well known for main healing? They like putting random stats on AF to make them completely useless.

same reason my Warlock's Tabard has Charisma+5 on it, SE puts random stats on AF with out paying any attention whatsoever to what job that AF is for.

I have to agree with Arkley. Cor is kind of Ranger -1 + Bard -1 that adds up to +1 for that party slot, but you need to do the best DD possible for that to be true. If you have someone that is going to focus on buffs then get a Bard instead. Their buffs are better. If you get someone that only worries about shooting her/his gun then get a Ranger instead. It is about respecting the people you xp with to perform your job the best that you can. If that means xping a little slower to farm then do it. It would be different if this was a solo game, but how you play effects those you are teaming up with.

Hmm, I don't have time to parse through all 6 pages @ work, so I'll just ask. I'm looking for a ballista wonk to provide some hard data on how much effect the shots will have. For example, if you hit someone with Dia II, then Light Shot, how much extra defense loss is there? Is it a hard value, or a percentage of some sort?

Int (And MAB at that) on the SC closer have affect on SC bonus damage. As for the MND question, magic defense? No clue there otherwise.

Yo everyone,
i'm still lv21 cor, currently lvlingup subs, but i've read a lot of things on different forums about quickdraw and i've a question:
I know agi and mab boost accu/dmg of QD, but i wonder about elemental staves. Since it's magic based i'd certainly switch to corresponding staff (on hnm fight, so idc about tp there).
But i've read on allakhazam (and actually that's the reason why i'm skeptic cause no one here's mentionned it) that "Appolo's staff enhances QD dmg by 10% and lowers resist", and no one on their forum disagree with it.
Wtf, i mean i don't understand why/how this staff would enhance non-light shot dmg by 10% and reduce resist.
So there is my question: have you tested it ?
And if it's real, would it be better to keep appolo's 100% of the time for every QD or switching to HQ staves corresponding to shot will get better results on both dmg/accu ?

Elemental staves of the proper element will boost Quick Draw in a similar way to which they boost magic spells. So yes, you will do more damage.
Arkley :
Good CORs do both.
Good CORs do both.
It depends entirely on your party and your role. If you're mainhealing a TPburn, supporting a manaburn, or pulling like crazy with Peacemaker (hell, in any party worth a damn, I don't even have time to engage the mob), your damage capability is reduced to near nothing. Your damage is limited to a few shots and Quick Draw.
Chiana :
If you have someone that is going to focus on buffs then get a Bard instead. Their buffs are better.
If you have someone that is going to focus on buffs then get a Bard instead. Their buffs are better.
It's entirely situational. Most of the time, I'd say melee songs are better than melee rolls. But for mages? Up to +16 magic attack bonus? Pet attack, accuracy, and matt/macc rolls? HMP+? Refresh? No contest.

how do you make your QD more Consitant? I Can hit about 230-250 Max on Kirin depending on my Wizard Rol... but a lot of the time, the number is much smaller and I think that's resist? so what affects the resist of the shots?

Kirin, and every other "God" in Tu'lia is going to resist you more often than not. They're just absurdly high-level monsters. Its difficult for the best Black Mages to get consistent results out of magic damage, let alone Corsair. Stack as much Agility as possible, and pray.
Semi-off topic, because the comment it stems from was equally off on a tangent, but lets be real here; If it weren't for March and Elegy, Bard would be completely out of the job. Chaos Roll is incredibly powerful, and Corsair's Roll is unbeatable.

I seriously thought DNC roll would be a Haste Roll or something like Haste Samba, that lowers delay :/ Why regen?
