Hey everyone,
I get swamped with tells about how to get to all of the staging points. I figured everyone would be interested that wasn't already 5/5 would want a solid walkthrough to find the other spots. I hope this helps, I hope it's 100% accurate, if it's not I'm sure it'll at least get you very close to where you can figure it out. Good luck with assault, hopefully with more people at all 5 spots we'll get more posts on strategies soon.

Here's the Link to my guide, feel free to post it on any webpage, it's in swf format, I don't currently have any webspace to host it or i'd just put a link to a webpage. It also works fine to download and run from windows and stretch the screen so you can see the maps better.

Big thanks to ffxi-atlas for posting the maps, and putting in some markers so I could match them up with what I remembered seeing. And to everyone on asura that got the staging points with me, took probably 2-3hrs to find Periqia and a little over an hour to get to Ilrusi but with the guide you should get there a bit faster.

Acquiring the Five Staging Points: By Bea of Odin

Halvung Staging Point

· Exit Al Zahbi to Bhaflau Thickets

· Enter a tunnel in (F-8) for the zone to Halvung



· You can cast Escape and this will bring you directly to Mount Zhayolm. If you don’t have escape, head west to (H-9) then north to Mount Zhayolm.

· Follow the map below to the Heavy Iron Gate.

· Once inside the gate talk to Waudeen.





Azoulph Staging Point

· Take the ferry from Aht Urhgan Whitegate in (I-5) to Nashmau.

· Exit north to Caedarve Mire.

· Head to the Heavy Iron Gate at (K-9).

· Once inside the gate, talk to Nareema.





Ilrusi Atoll Staging Point

· Take the ferry from Aht Urhgan Whitegate in (I-5) to Nashmau.

· Exit north to Caedarve Mire.

· First get the Lamia fang key by following the lime-colored line.or a thief to pick the lock with tools. Follow the map below to get to the Lamia fang key. After acquiring the Lamia fang key, follow the red line to Arrapago Reef zone at (I-6).

· Make your way to the boat at (E-7) on the map below. This will take you to a different map.

· On the next map below, work your way to (G-5) where the staging point is.

WARNING: BEWARE OF TRUE SIGHT IMPS THE ROOM BEFORE THE STAGING POINT.





Dvucca Isle Staging Point

· Follow the instructions from the Ilrusi Staging Point until you get to (E-7) of the first Arrapago Reef map. Then follow the map below to (C-10) to get to the next map.

· Head to (I-11). This is showed on the map below.

· Go through the Iron Gate then hug the left wall until you zone to Caedarva Mire.

· Again just keep hugging the left wall until you get to the staging point.





Mamool Ja Staging Point

· Head to Wajaom Woodlands through Al Zahbi. Then, follow the map below to zone to Mamook.

· Make your way to Bhaflau Thickets once you zone to Mamook. Try keeping on the ledges and do not fall down. (I don’t really know how to draw directions to map. If someone can send me one that would be nice.)

· Once you zone to Bhaflau Thickets, keep left until you come upon a Heavy Iron Gate. Talk to Daswil.

Hey i just got your maps and you have the same map twice for 2 different areas. The same map comes up for the Atoll and Periqia.

theres like 3 maps for atoll and 6 maps for periqia and they share the first 2. if you hit next page, there's more maps

Thanks for the guide, quite simple put it is excellent.

Few turns on the last map to Periquia (sp?) seemed a bit off, had to go south/east/north before hitting the line again, but apart from that, all good

I'll go back and take a look at it tomorrow, i have map in game for Caedarva Mire. stinks the hosting is down now, i think a few ppl said they posted it up but i haven't seen links. ffxi-atlas even said they were gunna host it, i gotta make some changes though since they did change their reef map to the points i put on , but the goal was to get ppl there, so glad it's working ^^

for the routes that you head to the reef, you can take the first north path on F-9 in the mire and head directly there

on the periqia route, you could actually go to H on the 4th map, then i believe head NW til you hit the mire zoneline and you'd end up on reef zone #2 on the last map, much shorter and less keys

ya ppl been saying that dropdown mark they had was wrong, i forget if we went up that way the first time or not b4 they put that marking in, but we were walking around lost the whole time so i thought it was accurate, obviously that'd save some time if you could get up there straight, that's just another way if you get lost i guess, heh, i'll be making adjustments sometime once ppl find all the shortest routes, or ffxi-atlas might just put the paths in their map overlay, either way works as long as people get there.

do we have to get to all the staging points before we can actually accept the mission (Assault) in town and being warp to the staging point ?

lol I noobed..I formed an exp party in (aht urghan)
and then I realised I had only done 1/5 of the staging points. they wanted another one so I had to drop from my own party ; ;

doing 1/5 lets u take part in assault missions etc, but only for that area. (or maybe I'm wrong, I'm noobd to this area..)

anyway. ty for the guide. gonna get the other 4 now. just hope I dont need too many sneak pots..

Right Click --- Open --- Internet Explorer (not the "let internet explorer find something to open it with, just plain Internet Explorer). Click on any of the areas to proceed, and click Back to Menu to go back.

My SMN has more Noob gear than anything right now, unlike yours I can See has AFv2 and whatnot.

Anyways I thought I'd add that b/c i found it really suprising ......
