Back to the subject on hand (if you want to debate the silliness factor of DRG AF and how it looks on Humes, take it to the Flame Wars board... I'll definitely participate in that >.>). Each job has it's perks and downfalls. SE spent time with testers before this was released making sure one class wasn't better over another.^^

As for idiots and DMG... DRK do more dmg than me^^ But I connect more and chain quicker. So in the end the DMG evens out. Doing the most DMG doesn't make you the best, it's knowing the job in and out and performing the job to your best ability that can make you the best^^

Whether your job sucks or not its all based on urself. What makes u good is based on ur skill, ur attitude, and ur equipment. Does NOT matter what class, what race you choose. At the end of the day, u will be recognized by what u do, not what class u are from you. I mean havent u seen noobish BRDs? or WHMs, or PLDs that dont even know how to keep aggro and asks for others to cure 'em.

On my server DRG's are one of the LEAST common. Usually about 50-60 DRG's on everday. About 90-100 DRK's. 190-200 PLD's.

Lately Ive been able to keep up with samurais at level 57. I can chain with a paladin and a DRK, and have our blm do 600+ damage on magic bursts. I find myself extremly useful because of my accuracy and jumps that add TP. I think there is more to a dragoon then meets the eye.

one thing to remember about DRG class is that after 30 we can get the highest accuracy of anyone so I think on the average per battle I would bet the we can do more damage than the other classes drk has huge hit but how often .

Frankly, in most situations the only useful trait Dragoons have is Accuracy Bonus (when you have 200 attack the 10 from Attack Bonus isn't all that impressive). However, it really is a matter of skill.

In all honesty, a lot of Dragoons abilities are not all that accessible. Most Dragoons consider the Wyvern a damage add, but a whole lot of abilities (mostly healing though) are at the disposal of a Dragoon that knows how to work the wyvern too. It makes for a decent solo class.

Why are we fighting? The point of this and any videogames is to have fun, why fight about who is better? Square wouldnt put in a class that is worse then the rest, we're all the same in terms of usefulness.

These are the type of thigns that really pull the fun out of a game: " sucks! rulz!" please, every job in the game is good, and is only as good as it's player. DOn't ahte on other jobs, I've played with people who have ideal job combinations, but have jsut been incompetent, and others who have played with off-the-wall out in left field combos, and been stellar. Every job has it's usefulness in every party. No job is worthless.
