last year this event was pretty fun I'm looking forward to it especially because it sounds like theres a new katana (lotus katana) and im an event item whore O.o

yeah, but it's the same shit, hit for 1 damage with other ppl, if you delieve killing blow you get HQ sword

you get a shitty event katana after beating on samurais in the wild of newbie areas

This event sucked imo...It was fun for the first or second time but then it gets really boring just chasing a sam around for an hour for a wooden katana. My fav event was the one where you had 2 people who get teleported to some area and get to look for certain points and help each other out. People get to go to ifrits cauldron and stuff and places where most people who arn't that high lvl yet havn't gotten too. it was fun and you got to see new areas.

The Ram fucking sucked, unless you were a mage you had to lay low and wait for the ram to die to click the ??? or you ran the risk of getting your ass flung to the middle of Timbuktu, and even if you were a mage, 90% of the time the ram was dead before you could make it back. Did anyone even ever figure out the spawn conditions for Miura or was he just lotto?

Dude i Loved the Ram Event. Part of the fun was being blasted to Bastok while in Rolanberry Fields. and getting the items weren't that hard, just had to find the ram that was in the outside area of the Nation you were teled to and fight it at the gate. (Miura was just a random pop PriranMNK)

but this Fest of Swords event sucked in my eyes, all you got was a wooden sword that had no special effects to it and you would spend hours trying to chase down the armors only to have them run away again. i did it for one day then threw everything away

My Favorite event was the first ever christmas event.... damn that was so much fun... running around trying to smack down a Treant that had enormous HP as a lvl 25 fun fun times..

the katana is pretty shitty. I tried to use it to level COR, cuz all the noob weapons were expensive. It's too slow and doesn't do that much damage at all.

I spoke to a nomad moogle in Kazham and nothing ... I have my Lotus Katana what does i'm doing wrong
