Thief is definitely being under-appreciated.
WHO DO YOU THINK WILL HELP with LB1 if you don't have treasure hunter 2 from thief (know of it from reading different post on forum)? I personally never hit that lvl 50 benchmark (slowly getting Sam and thief to lvl 50 side by side), but people, thief needs love, too.
It's hard leveling a thief past 30 when everyone want a dmg dealer. Have you seen the dmg from sneak+ trick + WS. :wall

Awwww, I love thiefs, but they are sort of tricky to level, but I find that a proper sub can get you parties. And just so you know I appreciate you leveling thf.

Thieves play an important job, very important when a ninja in concerned for tanking because they can sneak+trick on the ninja to stick the hate.

I love thiefs : ), my level 72 friend is a thief and he helps me get drops. we did my AF coffer keys together and i got key drops on first monster 2 times in a row for my AF body piece and my AF boots. I also like thiefs in levelin partys, sneak attack is cool and there AF is so dam cool looking

I don't know if TH2 works on Coffer Keys and Lich Papyrus. I'm pretty convinced that TH2 doesn't work on those items because they are considered special. When we've gone key hunting in Garliange Citadel and Eldemine the best drops were without a thief. 6 coffer keys in 2 hours in Gar while it took forever in Eldemine.
Don't know on TH2 and specific items. Not sure at all.

I keep reading people stop level thief after 15, which is very true in my LS. I am the resident hi level thief in my LS AT LVL 31. >< It's really hard trying to level it when no one wants you in their party. I would literally sit in Kazham with my seek up for hours with no avail.
Now I am a little more hopeful as my LS is getting close to that lvl 30 mark with their um.. true jobs.

NIN or WAR is the best sub for THF as far as I know. WAR for the STR and defense upping, and NIN for the DEX, and AGI up.

31 you shouldn't be in Kazham anymore. Move to East Altepa. I'm currently War Subbed, for berzerk and backup provoke. (My current static only has me and a War for melee.) Unfortunately Warcry is way high level, otherwise I'd be even happier.

I'm curious...how long did your party at the time have use of TH2? As long as it's a drop, TH2 should help...but if what you say is true, then why do a lot of people (especially JP players) always take a THF along when looking for Coffer keys? I'm hoping that it was just bad luck with TH2 at the time.
