So I'm sitting here finally getting the jist on the whole Bluestone thing and laughing my ass off. And then it hits me through my clouded baked eyes riddled with THC. Where ever I look on this damn site there is this Redmage IGE fukin advertisment that is just looming over all the text that scrolls and scrolls.
So who are we all fighting here!? Why do we constantly fight about who's RMT of who's a poor chinese worker trying to provide fat americans who love BUSH like myself *lol* and who's uncle Sams fuk buddy for spending hours waiting for some bullshit to spawn? WHY!? I want to know and this place is more liberal than said Dragoon Lesbians house of Hypocrisy. I want an honest answer from someone and some flaming to keep me smiling.

1) SE is the Gil sellers. If not why doesn't it stop. It's like drugs -and if there' a economic model I know its drugs- you sell them to the newb. Then the newb smokes them like Moral Oral and comes back. Now you can have him steal for you and buy drugs - DOUBLE BACKSIES.

2) All sites except said Dragoon Lesbian's site all support IGE or some form of Chinese slavery like Phil Knight, and that is just wrong. How much these guys make, we all fukin play FF all the time. Do we not? We should call IGE and all get jobs, and take down the sleeping dragon that is China for G fukin W.

3) I hope this gets me some attention on this fukin server cause I need some sky and some sea and some other shit, just beat maat with Rdm at 69 with no +1 elixir and no fukin Moldavite or some kinda RSE aunt jamima gear.

Ok so I'm getting good input here thank you.

1) I have bought gil once to find means to an end. Game got me down I needed to find a quick fix and didn't want to give up. A means to an end.

2) KI can't pay the bills to keep the domain. So they offer to advertise for IGE and other gil sellers. A means to an end - but more acceptable then my buying. Hmmm.

So let's just say I am new to FF and I come here to find out what is going on. And these advertisements just float away at the top luring new players in to buy Gil to "catch up". These are good arguments in my opinion there is alot to farming in front of anyone who wants any decent respect in this game. But who wants to farm? Not I says the new guy who is like 25 lets say with a nice job and a G friend. He can't farm and get sex cause his gfriend isn't a sow and needs attention. So while he is surfing one night reading lovely posts here about newbs. He sees this advertisement and says hey, I make a good amount of money and "time is money" so he buys 5 million for like 30 bucks.

Is it his fault for buying? Is it KI's fault for advertising? Is it the chinese's fault for trying to eat?

The answer is were all at fault in some way and that is affecting our community. No we can't boycott them or they win. We can't just quit, this is Our game.

I just wanted to see what you all thought about your site contributing cause it interests me how a group can attack one person about RMT. Yet never bring up the IGE redmage at the top of the screen telling you to "play at the next level" - sounds leet to me.

This whole facade of I'm a better player cause I'm more - Enter gay phrase here - , needs to cool down on the gil buying/selling. It's just a game and a Gambling machine if you ask me without the regulations gambling requires.

So corsair it if you want to - change the name of the product so you don't have to look at it, but it will always be there as long as there is a need.

P.S. - Even though this shit pisses me off. I still love the players not the BOTs. Good gaming all and good luck on your adventures. I wish there was no RMT but alas.

Yes, I have seen the "play at the next level" ads. I never noticed it was a rdm, but I definately remember the ads. I also agree that someone who comes to this site as a newbie seeking info may have no idea a person can buy ingame currency for US dollars. I also agree this could be dangerous to our ingame economy. Not everyone even knows that buying gil is wrong.

I will never forget my surprise when I heard you could buy gil.

I was a level 29 thief in a party in one of the jungles of Kazham. After leveling up, our white mage stated, "I need to log for a minute and buy some gil. I willl be right back."

The entire party was shocked. We had no idea this was even possible. I was very confused. I didn't know if this was cheating or a hidden cost to the game. I also had no idea where you would buy gil. Obviously our white mage who purchased the gil didn't know what she was doing was wrong either and felt no shame in telling the party she would be back soon with her new gil.

I have never had a reason to buy gil online, but if I had a huge income in real life, and felt as if I needed more gil for my character, I could see where I too would have purchased gil out of sheer ignorance.

I applaud Sanix for having the guts to admit to buying gil at one time.

It's funny, if you read these message boards, nobody is buying gil (at least nobody who posts here), but IGE and others like them keep all their NM hunters and high level crafters busy 24/7.

1) like me didnt know you could buy Gil until an advertisement or someone told her. That is my main point. This site is #1 failure for that.
2) Didnt see anything wrong with it at first until more experience was gained. But some players never cared.

For clarification- Yes I bought gil and was a newb for doing so. Yes I am just a big enough asshole that I can't make friends easily on this game and when I do they are instantly exposed for just needing a RDM at the time and quickly move on to new groups that are more interested in their armor sets and mission needs. Yes I am a stoner who was very baked last night, but meh I'm an adult and I know what's best and drinking is not that.

So now that we all know how big a newb fish I am, lets move on. I got what I wanted, I found a sensible player that understood my post and that is enough for me.

I dont think you understand what you're talking about really. To be honest you may not know about gilselling when you join but after level 30 you'd be pretty ignorant to not notice. Furthermore if you were to be completely clueless about mm orpgs (changed this so it wouldn't show up as a green ad) you probibly wouldn't know of this site. As a result you'd probibly have just as likely a chance to google a gilselling site as compaired to a helpful site. I dont understand what your problem with the advertisement is personally since it dosen't really do anything other than advertise IGE. The people who want to buy gil are most likely not the very new people who just got the game. More than likely they've been playing long enough to know about gilselling without the advertisement's help. Furthermore, you can look at this site advertising IGE as taking away their money if noone clicks on it. I personally dont buy gil so in essence IGE is providing me access to this forumn for free. Second, If we were to assume that advertising on this website didn't really matter then we could assume that there would be a set number of people who would buy gil. The fact that IGE is advertised on this site just makes it more likely that IGE is getting more business.

You also mentioned something about Nike and their shoe sweat shops being slavery which i dont think you understand either. While you may be outraged that an american company is paying chinese workers close to nothing by our standards I doubt you'd be as outraged if you were to just hear the average wage in some of these countries. While I may not know exactly how they were treated it's like you said, everyone can understand simple supply and demand. Just because the wage is low on our standards dosen't mean it is low for the country in which they do business. If i recall correctly the media attention from nike didn't really cause them to adjust the wages paid to their workers I think they just improved working conditions and set up education centers. Maybe you shouldn't focus so much on the fact that they're getting crappy wages from nike. Maybe you should focus on the lack of infastructure within the country itself.

And that stuff about SE being the gilsellers is bs too. They dont sell gil they're a business. From their point of view gilsellers pay for the account so that gets them money. All they want to do is find a balance between their player accounts and the rmt accounts. I'm sure they have studied how often they need to actually remove gilsellers from their game *and advertise it on their site* in order to keep the player population satisfied. To be honest every time they put out one of those "Goodbye gilseller" posts on their site i bet they're just doing it to satisfy some people.

End gamers are more likely to guy gil then new players, and yes if we dont click on the icon there is no harm. But still the fact that SE and this site advertise Gil selling shows like you have pointed out: a balance between Real players paying for accounts and Gil sellers/farmers paying for accounts.
But like you also said and I agree, they are just thowing bones at us to keep us playing. If you look at it in money perspectives you'll surely see that a Gil seller has much more invested as far as character creation and max amount paid then your average player with 2 mules and a Main.
SE is litteraly not the Gil sellers, but I mean just try it. . . Call a GM and see what they "can't do for you". This is business and gil selling is a maor factor/variable to equate.
