I was reading that when your PUP hits 10, 20, and 30, you can choose your Puppets job from Attacker, Ranger, and Magic User. (Can you change your puppets job after 30 ? )
And I was curious as to what each puppet job has benefits to ?

Ranger
Magic User
And also the cons of each job would be helpful too.

Ranger: More Ranged Accuracy and Attack.
Magic User: More Magic Attack.

More melee skill.
AI - Follows target
Shield Bash
More accurate, consistent weaker dmg
Weapon - shd be Slashing..
WS - String Clipper and Chimera Ripper (refer to renkei chart)
Sharpshot
More ranged skill
Only one with Ranged Attack.
AI - Stationary at distance
Not particularly accurate, but slower, higher damage due to ranged attack.
Weapon - Blunt
WS - Arcuballista (accuracy rate isn't too high)
Stormwaker
Alot more MP
More magic skill
Can cast elemental nukes up to mid tier III
Can cast cures up to Cure IV
Can cast standard debuffs (not elemental debuffs, think RDM)
AI stands at distance. Does not follow mob.
Without influence of maneuvers, casts debuffs at higher priority when mob HP >50%
Without influence of maneuvers, at mob HP <50%, only uses its strongest nuke.
Weapon - shd be H2h, same as Harlequin
WS - Slapstick, same as Harlequin
note that I didn't divide AI apart from th rest, AI usually determined by head, what it can do is usually determined by frame.
