I think they did get their districts crossed, but I can't find the fireworks vendor anywhere in Sandy... none of the D-8's have it ;P and my main char is Elvaan so I want some short shorts dammit!

I'm probably just not looking hard enough, but if anyone already knows the location, it would be much appreciated.

So it looks like J-9 was the original incorrect location, I actually checked there too and there were no moogles, just a bunch of guards.

I'll just cruise around San d'Oria again tonight if no one posts the location before then, it has to be somewhere. And I can't remember if I checked Sandy North D-8, hmm.

Or maybe they aren't up yet. Try those locations again after the event starts as it wasn't set to start till today, I think.

Actually, I did think of that, I checked Bastok and the vendor was right where they said he would be. Why would Sandy be any different? Plus J-9 is a tiny, enclosed area with no room for one of those big stands the vendors hang out next to.

I just want some Elvaan Shorts, Hume Shorts will not do!

The Azimuth Circle II quest doesn't start until July 31st at 8:00pm EST, tho. Right? Today we're just getting the fireworks and decorations. Looks like we're getting improved versions of the yukatas.

Oh I know, but I'm not asking about the Azimuth quest location - it's the fireworks vendor location for Sandy that's way off, the original one is a small room with no area for the vendors, and the "corrected" one is a blank square on the map. I searched Sandy for a while but did not see the moogles (although I wasn't 100% thorough). I know the Azimuth quest won't be ready for a while.

I guess it's possible that they put a fireworks vendor in Bastok before Sandy, this is my first Special Event so I don't know how these things work. But that doesn't make much sense to me.

The vendor in Sandy is in Northern Sandy, not in Port. It's near the exit to West Ronfaure, kinda close to where the HP is.
