I was trying to get the +1 Yakuta, and when i go to resting and using compass it said "The Compass Reads "317 Yalms" anyone understand what this is?

I believe this is the same me and a friend just did which was tricky to work out but this is how it is.
Yalms is a measurement of distance with 999 being far away and 0 being right on it but the twist is your friend can see how far you are from the checkpoint and you can see how far he is from the checkpoint so here’s what to do.

1: get your friend to heal and keep telling you the number of yalms while you run about getting the number lower till you at the checkpoint.
2: make sure you are 0-5 yalms away from the check point because there have been a few checkpoints together at the same time which caused a problem.
3: after you get your item start healing and telling your friend the number of yalms till he got his item.
4: warp back using the item you get given and trade items with your friend then trade with the moogle.
5: reward isn't a +1 but a different type of armour that has DEF: 2 and is a give you 99 fireworks that transform you for 10 seconds.

Well once you got the first reward and when you try for the second reward instead of healing and seeing which direction to go it tells you how far of a distance your friend is to their target so you have to keep checking and communicating with your friend so he can get to his target and he does the same to you.

Went as 75WHM. Did Reraise 3 before getting warped by the moogle. Reraise stayed after the warp, and I died during quest after I got doll. So I accepted my Reraise after goblins ran off and traded the dolls, then warped. So yes, Reraise works I guess. Silly SE. ^^
