Currently a level 22 Bonecrafter and I'm looking at doing Gelatins (1 x Giant Femur, 1 x Distilled Water, Fire Crystal) next. As I was looking through a crafting list, I noticed Shell Shields at lvl 23 can be desynthed into Giant Femurs. Question is, what is my success rate going to be like? I was planning on just going to Tahrongi Canyon or Buburimu Peninsula and Farming the Femurs but I figured I'd check on this. I'm guessing it's not going to be that worth it as the price of Shell Shields I'm sure is around 1k per (and I don't know what lightning crystals are going for). Anyways, any info on desynthing and levels required would be great.

P.S. Yeah I know I don't have a fancy signature or profile yet, but I'm new to the site and working on it.

The rate is very low like 30% even with my 100 on bonecraft.

Desyn is different than regular syn. Usually has very high fail rate, except some specil item with 90% success rate like fish for scale.

I'd check around all the AH's first, usually giant femurs aren't hard to find unless you happen to be competiting with several other bonecrafters powergrinding at your level.
