So I've decided to go back to Thailand and become an English teacher. Second day in I wanted to slap the shit out of my students..... Third day I handled it a bit better tho.

Any teacher folks have any idea on how to get students to pay attention.....? Right now I just have wrapping on the board with the pen and calling on their names

Well, when I was teaching/tutoring, I'd give them something to look forward to. Say...a reward at the end? Or if I feel mean, I split the kids into 3 teams and tell them which ever team wins, they get Boba from me. (Bad thing is you have to pay out of pocket)

Seriously, it works like a charm.

But, of course, if you seriously want to be evil...just growl at them and scare them shitless!
