[DOOM!!!]

I know this is a long post but bear with me.
Last night me and a group friends were camping various NM's at Quicksand Caves. A member of my LS says to be careful in Kuftal because Guivre is up eating everyone. We decide to go fight him for fun, YES we know he drops crap basically but it is a fun fight. Anyways, we all gather at Kuftal and I see all the n00b RMT leveling there.... I get a little evil and pull Guivre to the West Altep zone knowing that they are all leveling close to the zone. After doing that a few times and poking the dead RMT bodies, we wtfpwn him and then decide we all want to keep killing shit. I say "Hey lets go to the Cape and skillup and maybe get Kreutzet and Frostmane and everyones down. We go to the cave near where the Bird pops and I see a THF standing there all alone. I figure he/she is just hoping for ToD on the bird so I ignore him/her and we proceed to start killing Manticores and Cockatrices. We are fighting a Manticore when I see the bird pop behind it. Not even thinking, I pull the bird. The BRD, BLM, and SMN that are with us have about 50% or less MP when I do this. I get Kreutzet to about 75% before he kills me and 4 of the others with a nasty AoE. The BRD manages to zone both mobs and the manticore depops. The THF claims Kreutzet as it goes yellow. The BRD zones back in and starts to raise us all. Once we are all up we begin to watch this THF and were ALL in awe. First, the THF has +67 Evasion. Pretty much every piece of gear he/she had on had evasion on it. Im talking Evasion Torque, Coarse Cape, Dance Shows, Crow Hands and Legs+1, SH+1, O-Hat, Elusive Earrings... this was probably the best Evasion setup Ive ever seen for a THF. He used his NPC like a champ, using the Tactics Pearl 3 times and the normal pearl once. He also had a full Hi-Potion tank that I believe was down to 7 left at the end.
He would fight Kreutzet while his NPC was alive and able to cure him. When his NPC died either from aggro from curing or AoE, he would turn his back on the bird and stand there waiting for timer on the Tactics pearl to go down. Whenever Kreutzet would get through his shadows and do damage, he would spam Hi-Potions. As soon as the time on his pearl was up, he would pop out his NPC and start to fight it again. He took Kreutzet from 75% to about 20% doing this before his luck ran out and he died. We claimed and finished him off and I got drop so 1/1. But thats completely overshadowed by what this THF did. I was naturally angry at first when he claimed it when we died, like anyone Im sure gets when they want whatever drop and they lose the NM, but by the time he/she died, I was in awe. I couldnt and dont hold a candle to this THF. I used to pride myself on being a good THF, if not great.... but now I feel mediocre compared to this Thief.
This players name is "Salley". He is a Japanese player and the owner of a Linkshell called "NewFriends" on my server of Bismarck. He speaks English good enough and was still polite after dying and us claiming and getting drop. He was very humble about all the praise we were giving him when we raised him and he feels that what he did was not extraordinary.
If your on my server and see him, /cheer him on because he is probably the best Thief on our server, if not the game....

Very very nice. Its a shame he couldn't of Finished it off for the drop..

Also i heard a Ninja on another Server solo'ed it to 1% as NIN/WHM, and then another thf killed it for the drop..

I've dou-ed Kreutzet like... 4 times... but solo is pretty tough. I would have been quite impressed if he could have soloed it. Aura Steal Feather Barrier would be pretty sweet though if he managed that.
