It was in the "Soloing" or what not thread...something about racial slurs or so...then we flamed it...then all of sudden as if the world were rewound...they were gone!

I saw a report about this on the news and I was disgusted. It brought back the horrifying 10 years of private school I had to endure, and when I had the option of going to public highschool I took it. After I made this decision I was taken into the office and told I would be corrupted by satan and people would try to make me do terrible things and join gangs and I would be persuaded to join a cult and I would be tempted by sex and drugs, all by just walking through the doors of a public school. I could only assume they werent worried about my well being they were only concered about the amount of money they werent going to be able to suck out my parents anymore because I would be leaving their school.

I can only hope that all the "brainwashing" those horrible people are trying to inflict on those children would have the opposite effect on them later on in life. I stopped going to that private school and I learned that there is more than one opinion that is right, and that I was allowed to have an open mind and I wouldnt be punished for speaking my mind and believing what I wanted to believe. All in all I do feel sorry for those children... I wonder how much their parents are paying to send them to that camp....
