I'm up on the platform right next to Sedal-Godjal, and Allahkazam says he's supposed to give me a quest in order to open the gate of Banishing.

Problem~ The taru's not giving me anything except a warning that there's danger south. Is there something I missed in order to get the quest?

yes. you have to touch the wall of banishing first. and get denied.

then talk to the little taru.

then go to the 4 orange spots on the davoi map. 5th spot is top center following the river, off the map.

be very careful when you do this, there are 3 orcs that guard this door that will rate at least EM to you when you do this limit break. i don't think i have ever opened it without getting aggro so i usually just sleep them first....but not everyone can do that. also, since you have to touch it then go back to that taru you can't exactly zone into the cavern if you get aggro.....good luck!
