ok so we all know that FFXI is better than WoW but some people are too unintelligent to realize that more time to cap off job means more play time total so I would like to create a forum as a general resource for people to use when they come across this problem of lesser beings to argue how FFXI is better than WoW now that being said we must realize as well that which is better is all a matter of opinion but sometimes you may be in need of convincing an unbiast person to join FFXI over WoW Like I have done multiple times so here I wouldlike to officially establish the FFXI > WoW forum please leave all reasons and I will create a list

FFXI, although is ment to be group friendly, is full to shit of elitists and jerks. IDK about WoW on that one so that can be a draw for now!

I'd hate to slap you with reality, but people spend all their time playing WoW too, WoW is solo friendly because getting into groups means interacting with other idiots (and 1-0 isn't a draw), and WoW has no plot.

But yea, it's preference. If you can't cut it in FFXI, WoW is always there for you to make everything so much easier. It's like a net to fall back on, and a bug light to keep most(most!) of the idiots out of FFXI.

I tried WoW, and had a blast. I had more fun starting it then when I started FFXI.

FFXI holds your attention longer then WoW does, though, and is more rewarding when you actually accomplish something, just because accomplishments are so few and far between.

Your most likely coming across as forceful to anyone you're trying to convince.
I play FFXI, because i do 2 of my friends joined (one from WoW) without me telling them they should "coz its better".

@Dak, My point was that on FFXI you log on and lfp for god knows how long. On WoW you log on, walk around (finding new areas or something) doing quests and killing afew things to get xp. All of which you can most likely do without any help.

I played WoW for like a month and got bored. Killing things at low levels without a pt just seemed boring to me :/
That and i knew noone on WoW... Where as I already know a bunch of people on FFXI...

Oh I have, and theres idiots in both. Accomplishments, are just like I said. FF, its already been stated, are few and far between. WoW gets the rep of easier because it rewards players more commonly, vs FFXI having the "long stretch to x item and y item".
