Yeah, okay, Nintendo can keep on blowing Sony for as long as it wants. Nintendo is a thing of the past, they're never going to recapture the glory of the NES and SNES and they're scraping by with niche titles and the few franchises that they own the rights to that are actually worth looking into (Basically Zelda, Metroid, and occasionally Mario).

There not trying to Himura? You notice how there going for something completely different, hell each system is. They each are trying to find a different aspect of the market. 360 customize, Nintendo revoltionize, and Sony push the limits of what our graphics can do. Nintendo is doing fine in ways of as you say scrapping by.
There not under nor on top. They just appeal to a younger market. There handhealds aren't scrapping by seeing as how much they sell. Compared to the failure of the PSP. Also Sony's PS3 costs them about $900-1000 when they are selling it for $600 so who's the company that needs to gain a hit with a new system? Sony thats who the company it's self isn't in the best shape it has been. With all the money there investing into the system if it doesn't fly they could be in financial trouble. Anyways I'm not trying to bash Sony just make a point. I do however agree that they are feeding off Zelda, Metroid, and Mario to rake in the money. Nintendo has always been a more kiddie system in general, so when Sony came out orignally with a new system all the adult gamers moved on. Also if you look back on SNES yeah it was a great system but just like today for all systems it was full of crap games. As well as a few select good tiles.
This whole debate with nintendo/sony fan boys is rather annoying however, the only thing I dislike sony for is poor marketing only shipping 400,000 PS3 to the US. Where as nintendo is shipping 4 mil. Yeah sony's system is more advanced blah blah blah still poor sendout. Due to this shortage most stores won't allow preorders. PS3 will be a great system but a new Soild Snake nor Devil May Cry is enough for me to buy one. Hell neither is the Wii, I'll wait til they drop it or realease the new Smash and Mario. Oh, and to the OP that trailer you claim as "cool" is more like scarier then hell. Reminds me of the Micheal Jackson Triller music video. Also where is the America > Japan? What kinda of choices are those? They all side with your own opinion.

Most systems are sold at a loss. The money is made in licenses and royalties. Every game made must pay for a license. The is also offical product licenses.

PS2 was sold at a loss to push DVD and at the time they had no real compitition. PS3 is being sold at a loss to push Blue-ray.
