I remember Strangelove when I first logged on so many moons ago. He was funny, his generic avatar from the files bugged me and I regret not flaming him.

Don't care about the rest of the topic, but Strangelove was defintely overrated. He just had a huge following which believed in his every word about anything he decided to discuss. Those were darktimes imho, and SL was the main reason I stopped posting anywhere but the WAR forums.

I can't remember who said this, but a few months ago when SL's name was mentioned, a admin noted that he became an FFXI Fiend only because the KI community was so sparse. Post count meant everything back then, hell that's how Castercow became a FFXI Fiend (he kept the Fairy community on KI instead of Alla, if I recall correctly). Eh, anyways, to sum it up: Strangelove sucks.

I was waiting for someone to say this. Not that I agree, it's just taken longer than normal for someone to malign SL.

Memories, huh? I guess I'd have to go with any thread that was touched by lolNoureddin. He never seemed to get that we were laughing at his spelling, not his grammar. Well, his spelling and his outright stupidity. The guy was frigging unreal. That one time when he said English was his native language (although I think he actually said it was "USA American"), I thought I would die laughing. English teachers all over the world must have started screaming that day, but none of them knew why.
