Killing Ifrit has always been a large part of the FFXI community. It was and still is a primary source of information on how to get something done in Vana'diel. Flamewars, however, was not always a large part of Killing Ifrit.

Initially, it was a place to move debates that had gotten a little too warm for their section. WHM Melee, DRG vs. DRK, etc.

It gradually took on a life of it's own, becoming a place where individuals flamed each other in a fashion resembling that of actual flame boards. Anon trolls sprouted up, and gradually, flamewars became the most controversial section to moderate.

Now, at the end of it's lifespan, it's a dumping ground for anime images, rehashed debates, politiks, and anon trolls.

I had fun in the beginning. I still had a bit of fun, even now. But it has run it's course. We're getting back to a KI that's about game discussion. Maybe you'll join us. Maybe not. Either way, this section is dead. Let it lie.

As such, the panda is gone. I'm also removing the waruijin mark from my sig. I am no longer the 'harmful influence' that flames the hapless newbie.
