No, the game is not over. No, you haven't won. No, I refuse to allow you to tell me that it is done and simply lie down.

And I will win playing by your rules. No spam. No goatse or shitty pictures of that nature. How, might you ask? There are two directions KI could take at this juncture.

1) The taper. The spammers, trolls, and baiters move on, most likely to AoT. Randomness ensues. KI becomes stable, the convorsations on things about FFXI, gameing, etc. There will be those whom were FW regulars that will still call this place home (i.e. me), but for the most part, the Flame War Spammers will move on to something else, whether it be to AoT or even to their server forums to random bullshit. I'll never connect with people like motoh or Orca to bullshit with on my friendslist, people that come from different backgrounds, servers, and jobs, but are just as passionate as I am. I'll never know another Hayden, or flame another Tonka (only to lol at it later). The people will never rise up in such great numbers to form one great voice against a single person (/poke ifto "wuuuuuv you!").

In short, KI will be another board on another site. There will be no more passion. There will be no more drive. There will be bland, vanilla, discussion (zomg sushi vs. meat!). No one will write words with fire, no one will /feel/ anymore.

So what's the other direction it could take?

In short, the threads that should belong to Flame Wars will spread into your other forums and, like a cancer, eat them from the inside out. But much, much, more violently. The threads will be so heated, calm will have no place among the users of KI. Is this me being retalitory? No. It is me simply being me, and giving a fuck not just about what I think, but what I believe. And giving a fuck about what others believe, in turn. Passion and drive is what sets the us apart from your usual posters. Thread after thread, you will attempt to control the uncontrolable. You will not be able to contain me. Of course, your next logical assumption would be to simply silence me. By that time, it will already be too late.

Others will follow, whether it be to follow my lead, or their own gut telling them to do so. From what I've seen, you've already got one: Hadyn. Your forums will be so hostile, so bitter. Emotion will run rampet throughout, and restraint will be lost. What control you thought was escaping from our current situation in FW's will seem like a god damned Facist Dictatorship. I agree with your ultimate goal, however. There is too much shit here. Very little sustinance, and I'm unsure what broke the camel's back. I hated Strangelove, and could never understand why he was so loved. His thread "not a female ninja" was nothing but a 30-60 post a minute spam-fest/jerk-off-a-thon to see whom could get "No-Lifer" first. If I had the cojones back then, I would have opened fire. But alas, I'm not Seirgoth (Yea. I intentially spelled your name wrong. What?).

So... How do we change things? Burn the house down? Perhaps. But you might end up burning the entire neighberhood. My suggestion, though, move shit. Move it so the "Moved" tag doesn't show up and give that oh-so-popular "Flame Wars" traffic to the topic. Move it and send a PM to the user that he posted the wrong fucking forum, and if done again, there will be hell to pay. Create the most hostile fucking enviroment for FW users when posting in the wrong fucking section. That way, if something derails or off-topic-posts, there will be hell to pay. Not just from mods, but from posters as well. Try this out - new policy: FW is closed for a god damned week when someone posts flame bait. I swear to god, I'll use this week to find the Skarfaze-wannabe whom thinks their funny with the whole "lol i hatez gilzellrez!!!111one" and smash them in the mouth with a ball peen hammer. It puts responsibility off of you and back onto the users. Afraid of a shit-for-brains posting nothing but crap in order to get FW closed all the time? 250-500 post minimum to post in there. I tried to post in the other Forums, but it made me feel dirty. I have been to AOT, but it can get far to silly for my tastes. If I wanted stupid, I'd post on the AllakhaZAM Unicron forums.

zorander, you're being overprotective of AoT. All I said is that most randomness will probably go there if forced from here. How is that bad? I only stated it because it seems to be the progression of things: Kicked off here or pissed about a change in KI -> Go to AoT. I can name at least 5 that migrated in such a manner off the top of my head. And then you jumped on Dimm for not getting into AoT. If you want to talk about AoT, make a thread about it. That's what Flame Wars is about for the vets that remember the good parts. That energy, that raw emotion. It doesn't have to be an argument, though thats the easiest way to get it. I agree, I used to visit AOT in the beginning, but like I said, it was too goofy. I need a good mix of flames, stupidity, and thought provoking discussions.

This is great, I just got done watching Equilibrium.

Previously appeared in my signature, and taking a page from The Last Boyscout, "The sky is blue, water is wet, KI mods are inept."
