All i have is Trick Staff 1 i tried just equipping that i tried taking everything off, just using head piece, about everything still no drops on them been trying just using 1 npc then i moved on eventually wasting gil trading about 9 to 10 things a vandial day

You can't store any item that has more than 1 charge on it because it automatically gets rid of all charges when you put the item in storage and then when you take that item out of stoarge it has to rechage as if you used the last charge. So since multiple charge items can't be recharged it would take all the cahrges anyway from that item. It's the same reason you can't put the NQ Charm Wand on the NPC.

What I would like to know is why I can't put any of my holiday belts on the NPC, I have multiple costume belts, a moogle belt and a dash sash. Would just be nice to free up some more space is all.

Hello i am an advanture in seach of info on the dark lilies that were added to this years halloween festiable. i have tracked the 2 in sandy and leanded waht i could of there stories. teh frst adn elvaan that wounders the foution aera speaks of a hume knight she had a crush on. she was unalbe to tell him her feeling adn after his death she stayed on a traped spirt. the second sandy witch a hume who stalkes the guild aera. she speaks of her brother and how he always looked for her. thne on day they had a huge fight adn she stomred out fo the house adn later triped adn fell to her death in the guild aera. i nexted jumped over to windy adn followed the mithra witch around. i learnded she use to fish to support her poor mother and herself from a secert place. then next she broke her promess to her mother by not liveign and honest life, something she promessed to do. i have yet to track teh taru adn teh 2 in bastok so to my fellow advantures if you have stalked thies last witchs and learned of there stories i would love to hear of them. after all to me a good rpg is mand up of a good story.

I agree, Myuda. I have the Dash sash, bronze moogle belt, fortune egg, happy egg, etc., pretty much all the ones that dont go in storage >< lol

It would be nice if when each event takes place they'd add the storage part of it too ; ; It would free up so much space!

Ok. So question. I'm in sandy doin this. I got some good practice with the lady at the fountain so im ready to do marys or whatever her name is. Whats the procedure to get her to say anything to me? Do i ever chat with her? or do i simply follow her till the time is right for her to say something?

no not really Dyire, cuz im having the same problem.

the first ghost went fine, stayed behind her the whole time, listened to her story, and got my witch hat.

however, when attempting the second ghost there is no story at all. other than saying "!!! Your, your no monster!" she says nothing, but my costume randomly turns off after a while without a notification on the log. anyone else encountered this?

edit: finally heard her talk, when i was under her on the walkways and she was facing me...then she gets me again.../sigh

edit 2: got it! ok for those of you who are having the same problem as i did; aka - the quest is active and everything, but you dont hear the npc tell her story, etc. here may be the reason: you cant wait till the next game day, once 0:00 passes. you must wait a full hour, meaning if you got got your witch hat at 600 then you cant attempt it again until 600 the next game day

If she is saying "You're no monster!" and your costume turns off, it means she has "seen" you and you have to go get another costume to try again. The second npc turns to look and stops alot more often, and more randomly, so you have to be extra careful.

Also, if you're not getting any story whatsoever and are in costume near her, without being seen, go back to your Exorcist NPC to see if the quest is still active. It deactivates when you zone etc

Great guide but missing one thing as far as I can tell. I was only able to get Pitchfork+1 at Bastok Markets G-4, no other bomb set would work for me.

I was doing HQ fork quest with a friend, did it in Windy waters (we both bot NQin southern sandy) friend got HQ fork and I got "you cannot obtain the jack o' lantern". I have all 3 lanterns. can anyone tell me what went wrong?

You have the HQ fork already, yes?
Those who do the HQ fork part of the event that already have the HQ fork will obtain a jack o lantern instead. If your inventory is full, you might not be able to hold it, thus the "You cannot obtain" message.

The other 3 lantern furnishings have no correlation to this part of the event.

purple]this guide is really good really helped me get all the items just working on the treat staff II and the horror head. Can you only get 1 item per day ? cause my bf traded all sorts of treats to lotsa npc mobs and no treat staff II T__T [/purple]
