Ok, I debated posting this but we had so much fun with Ugly Gamers, I figured I'd post this. Ok, first off THIS IS MY OPINION. I don't care what other people do with their lives on this subject. I want you to discuss my opinion.

Anyway, when an older person hits on me or asks me out it really bothers me (I'm 24, so older to me is like 31+) for a couple reasons.

Here are my base assumptions:

1. 2 immature people can not have a mature relationship
2. 1 immature person and 1 mature person can not have a completely mature relationship
3. To have a healthy relationship you both should each be able to bring something to the table and be equal.

Ok so here we go. Say I'm a 20 year old who thinks I have the maturity of a 40 year old, then I am immature because I think that, so I could not have a mature relationship. If a 40 year old has the maturity of a 20 year old then he is immature and we revert back to assumption 2. If both of these happen at the same time then we default to 1.

And lets say they say "Fuck it, who cares about maturity levels, we're in love, age is just a number". Hmmmm..... I know I've heard that before..... oh yeah, that's what 15 year old girls say after her parents find out she dating a 30 year old and pregnant. Ding ding, we have a winner there! Love is in the air.

Anyway, I wouldn't say a relationship with only a 7 year age difference is doomed to fail, because that's really not much difference. I could understand if some guy in his 50s started hitting on you (OP), but a 31 year old? Stop complaining.

Whenever someone's bitching at me for liking someone like, two grades lower than me, it really annoys me. If they love me, and I love them, who the fuck cares? We're both mature. The only difference between us is maybe a few inches and some pubic hair.
